No. But there's plenty of alternatives out there in the realm of sci-fi and futurist studies to suggest that AI and machines stand a damn good chance of superseding humanity, that is, evolving beyond us. That doesn't mean that such technology will go all Terminator on us. In fact, it's likely that wouldn't be the case. Humanity gets ignored as a non-threat and AI becomes the dominant lifeform on the planet. We'll make great pets!
