I'm fine with the term "wet nurse". Whatever the connotation, I don't have a dog in this fight. I've just attempted to answer questions that were posed to the board. The conversation wandered a bit, but the thread is about whether the word mammy is racist. Evince calls EVERYTHING racist.

I didn't realize wet nurse was a derogatory term.

I just read a book called "Slanted" about a band that won a case in the Supreme Court because they could not get a trademark for their (Asian) band called "The Slants."
