Can you shoot a cop in self defense?

I doubt many courts would find telling a person to remove their hands from their pockets to be an illegal order.

I agree that police officer was doing a terrible job. I question the wisdom of "standing his ground" against the police officer. And looking for a legal way to kill police officers is not a good idea.
It took courage for that homeowner to stand his ground. It was obvious the guy was shitting his pants. The best feeling in the world is when the cops know they're wrong and you get to watch them drive away.

You and most other people. That's why you're slaves.

The term is called brandishing. Cops should do a year or 2 in prison for brandishing on innocent civilians. They're no different than street thugs.

Traditionally, self defense was when there was no other option. There was an obligation to retreat.
a doctrine that sits securely in the top 5 stupidest policies to have to follow in all of humanity

I am just saying, this guy walked away in good shape.
you approve and support heavy handed tactics and threats towards citizens from armed government agents......got it.

have you ever actually researched and observed the absolute nightmare of what it takes to file a complaint or lawsuit against a cop, cops, or an agency????

I had a very bad experience with a police officer in Odessa, Texas.

The question becomes should a difficult complaint be an excuse for murder. Can I travel down to Odessa, Texas and murder a random police officer, because it is too much trouble to file a complaint?

More importantly, WHY DO YOU WANT TO MURDER POLICE OFFICERS SO BADLY??? I think murdering police officers is a very bad idea.

murder itself is always a bad idea.........but you apparently don't understand the definition of self defense. sure, you can submit and do what you're told, then try to file a complaint/lawsuit later..........and see how the government deals with it..........
but your hyperbole is just an excuse for you to say that government can be trusted more than citizens......a wholly alien concept to the founders.......

I've see all too often, and posted many incidents on here, an officer, or officers, violate the rights of a person(s), then watch more abuse piled on when they try to file a complaint. then IF, there is a lawsuit, watch a court dismiss due to qualified immunity, or a settlement occur where no accountability is held, or even worse, the citizen trying to get redress for their grievance be punished further

but you go on believing that your government loves you and cares for you...........see how that works out for you.

you apparently don't understand the definition of self defense.

There is the rest of the world's definition, and then there is the alt right's definition. How difficult paperwork is does not work into the rest of the world's definition of self defense.

but your hyperbole is just an excuse for you to say that government can be trusted more than citizens

I never said anything even close to that. You make up a bunch of stories, but they are not reality.

Let's take a simple case of a police officer violating your rights. If a police officer gives you a parking ticket that you clearly did not deserve, and says he will lie in court about it. Can you legally murder a police officer then?

This is absurd. The people who argue against BLM, and any police reform, are arguing for murdering police.

but you go on believing that your government loves you and cares for you...........see how that works out for you.

One second you are accusing me of wanting to defund the police, and the next you are accusing me of loving the police too much, for simply not wanting to murder them.

so you're of the mindset that government is always right, no matter what.......and yes, you are saying that by disregarding the roadblocks put up to negate that paperwork.

I never said anything even close to that. You make up a bunch of stories, but they are not reality.
you ARE saying that and everything i've ever posted here has had links to the media outlets reporting them........they are reality. you choosing to deny it doesn't make it a 'story'.

Let's take a simple case of a police officer violating your rights. If a police officer gives you a parking ticket that you clearly did not deserve, and says he will lie in court about it. Can you legally murder a police officer then?
more hyperbole......is that all you have?

One second you are accusing me of wanting to defund the police, and the next you are accusing me of loving the police too much, for simply not wanting to murder them.
1. I am not some alt right dingbat accusing you of wanting to defund the police......that is just you having no argument so you are forced to lump me in with them to make yourself feel better.
2. POLICE are GOVERNMENT..........I know you limited intellect fucksticks try to avoid that principle, but it's reality.
3. if all you have is hyperbole, then you do not have the intelligence to actually discuss the issue.

so you're of the mindset that government is always right, no matter what.

So now moderates and liberals are saying the police are always right? You clearly have no secret insight into my mindset, and probably should stop claiming to.

We should try to not kill each other. Under some limited circumstances, we are forced to kill other people, but it should not be the first choice. Even when people treat us wrong, the first solution should not be to kill people. That goes for police, and it goes for the rest of us.

you ARE saying that

If I have said the police are always right, it should be no problem to prove that.

fuckstick

I want nothing to do with your "fuckstick." What you do in the privacy of your own home is your own business, but this is getting creepy.

you clearly are unable to grasp the simple concepts about this. maybe this is beyond you.

then I suggest that YOU should start preaching this to the inner city kids killing each other as well as the numerous cops out there who believe that they have the right to kill someone so they can go home at the end of their shift.
