So basically, the Authoritarianism, the mass murder, the loss of freedom, all of that was fine. The real problem was that Hitler ALSO did that stuff outside of Germany.
It's a common tactic of the Alt-Right. Whitewash the Nazis while also making it clear that you're not a Neo-Nazi. The Alt-Right does it on YouTube all the time.
That's not to say Owens is Alt-Right, I don't think she is. I think she's just trying to appeal to the Alt-Right like Trump does.

Yes, Owens really screwed the pooch with her statement. But unless you can show it is part of a larger pattern it could be she just said something stupid one time.
