Cap-n-trade ; does the right even care anymore that they're lying bags of shit?

The truth is not a democracy. So many scientists get money from government grants in some fashion or another that they tow the fascist line.

silly liberal....you confuse the fact of a changing climate with the liberal myth that humans have caused it.....if you aren't aware what the argument is about, you ought not engage in the debate.....

Not a myth. If yone's understanding of science is as poor as yours, one shouldn't embarrass oneself by discussing topics clearly over one's head. Look up the concept of peer review. It is central to science, and there is no more disagreement in the peer reviews on the human causes of climate change than there is on evolution. Being able to recruit a few whores to spew pseudoscientific corporate bullshit from the polluters, and assign censors with no scientific credentials to alter the output of Dr. Hansen of NASA, one of the pre-eminent scientists in the field, does not constitute a legitimate scientific debate.

Which part of the human contribution do you not understand? Is it the effect of pumping tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere that you can't grasp/ Is it the effect of simultaneously clear-cutting the Amazon rainforest, the single largest processor of CO2 into O2 via photosynthesis that you can't grasp? Is it the concept that we have a finite atmosphere, and a damn thin one to boot, that you can't get your head around? The blanket of atmosphere that envelopes the earth extnds some 600 miles from the surface. but most of this is unusable. The Karman Line at 100 km above sea level (62.1 miles) delineates the aeronautical limit of the atmosphere, the point at which it becomes too thin to support the wings of a plane. It is an engineering distinction, not a chemical or biochemical one. The usable portion of our atmosphere is less than 6 miles above sea level, and the summit of Mt. Everest is just outside it. However, the Death Zone starts at under 5 miles. Specifically, anything above 26,000 feet is incapable of suppporting human life. We can acclimatize ourselves to high altitudes, but at 26,000, acclimatization is impossible and death from HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema) is inevitable. So that's how much of our 600 mile thick atmosphere is actually usable to us: 0.8%. There are 14 mountains whose summits are higher than we can live
, so to put it bluntly, anyone who thinks our atmosphere is too vast for us puny humans to fuck up is a goddamn idiot who's been listening tofar too many corporate lies.

Silly liberal? Yeah, i'm silly alright, expecting the right to be able to comprehend a discussion on the human impact on climate change. As if they have a fucking clue about science. For example, we silly liberals don't believe the earth is only 6000 years old. Only conservatives believe that, so I'm not surprised the same group is disproportionally represented in the "climate change is not a human-caused phenomenon" bunch.

You really ought to use what brains you do have before they atrophy entirely, and for something othert than repeating corporate and GOP lies and talking points. Consider a vessel containing water, and having an influent and effluent which are in balance. Now increase the influent by 0.0001%. Well, shit, that's a miniscule amount. That won't have any effect on the vessel. Wrong. It may take a century and a half, but the fucking vessel is going to overflow. Period. Oh, yeah, and don't forget that when you clear cut the rainforests, you are partially closing the effluent valve, thereby guaranteeing an overflow occcurs even sooner.

Fucking numbskulls. LIBERAL MYTH, MY ASS. FOLLOW THE MONEY, (HINT: PEOPLE WITH LOTS OF MONEY AREN'T SPENDING IT PROMOTING SOCIALISM, UNLESS OF COURSE IT'S SOCIALISM FOR THE RICH.

it doesn't surprise me that you are ignorant of those who argue against you....it's typical of a liberal to remain uninformed about matters of concern to the world.....they are more inclined to argue about their fantasies than reality.....
