Challenging the white worldview

Whether Americans know it or not, they live in, and are shaped by, a racist society long dominated by white men and the white-centric worldview they promulgate—that was the premise of two presentations and a workshop held in the Wood River Valley last week by best-selling author Robin DiAngelo.

DiAngelo, a white woman, knew that her premise, and the arguments she would build off of it, would be controversial, and that some in the mostly white crowds would find them upsetting. The 90-minute presentations last Wednesday and Thursday, as well as a three-hour workshop on Thursday, were condensed versions of her new book, “White Fragility,” which debuted in the top 10 on The New York Times’ bestseller list this summer and remained there for seven weeks. The book addresses why it’s difficult to discuss racism with white people, especially those who believe they are not racist.

Lucky for me you can't own white folks and have been reduced to victimy whining an anonymous chat boards..

I'm not the one playing victim. I'm not the one on here constantly whining that the system is unfair and the corporate politicians have caused me to be a failure. That's you.

Again, the anonymity is on you, boy. Bring your bitch LV with you. He claims to be able to do all sorts of things when it comes the private investigator field.

Don't embarrass the liberal side by posting shit like this, guno.

There is no more a prevalent white view than there is a prevalent American view.

I'm just as white as Banjofuck and Bullshit Blob, and being white may be the only thing in the world that we have in common.

You all but call me a fucking honky cracker with these stupid opinions when I've done nothing but support liberal positions since I marched with Dr. King in 1965.

Well, fuck you.
I blame the African American voters who stayed home in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania for the motherfucker we have in the Oval Office right now.
You were able to join us when we voted for Obama, but you couldn't be bothered to come and vote against the orangutan.

I have no more tolerance for your racism than I have for Banjofuck's.

SMH as if we could have stopped the racist white man from putting him in office. ....rolling my eye.

You are an example of how the racist right as white washed lots of americans......it's sad.
