A metro-Atlanta rapper has been indicted on charges of rape, sex trafficking and is accused of luring women into prostitution.

Prosecutors said John Michael Hakeem Gibson, aka Cash Out, developed a criminal enterprise with a convincing story to lure the women.

“The most troubling aspect of this case is that women have been victimized and brutalized within our community by people who had a chance to do something else with their lives,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said.

The district attorney’s office said Cash Out used his celebrity status to push women into a life of prostitution.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER: DEMOCRATS LET HIM IN, DEMOCRATS LET HIM STAY

A man who fled to the US from Colombia after the murder his wife in 1994 was arrested Wednesday in Massachusetts, the FBI said in a news release.

William Hernando Usma Acosta, 61, had been living in Belmont under the alias Carlos Alberto Rendon after entering the US illegally in 1995, authorities said.

"The murder was the result of a domestic violence incident in which Usma Acosta shot and killed his wife (Laura Rose Agudelo) and then shot his daughter as she tried to intervene," the FBI release states. He fled Colombia shortly after the killing and was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice, the FBI said.

Authorities have arrested the firebug accused of igniting a massive blaze inside of a Brooklyn nightclub earlier this month, Mayor Eric Adams announced Thursday.

Cult leader arrested on rape, false imprisonment charges

4a62b2c4-snapshot-5.jpg

He is a 40-year-old man who is known by many names such as "Natureboy," "The Messiah Demigod," "Master Chief," and who supporters on Thursday even called "God," but to the DeKalb County jail he is listed as Eligio Bishop.

Bishop was taken into custody by the DeKalb County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit Wednesday evening at a home he rents on Arbor Chase.

Just after 6 p.m., police executed search and arrest warrants.

"I came outside, police were circulating with the helicopter I’d seen first, then I come to the front window and see they are outside with guns pointed at the doors, pointed at the windows," one supporter who was with Bishop recounted to FOX 5.

Bishop’s followers believe he shouldn’t have been arrested.

Bishop is the head of Carbon Nation, which is either cult or a Black counterculture group, depending on who is describing the organization.

Bishop expressed how his group has been misunderstood everywhere they have gone, including Costa Rica which they were forced to leave in 2017.

The group has not only been thrown out of Costa Rica, but was also asked to leave Nicaragua and Panama, according to reports.

Carbon Nation members said they follow a vegan diet and believe — among other things — that all people are different shades of brown. Followers are asked to live as part of a commune-style "family" being asked to surrender their money and possessions.

Bishop remains behind bars facing charges of rape, false imprisonment, and sending sexually explicit messages.

"We teach sexual education and we believe in nudity. And so that’s one of the charges that’s trying to be brought against my Chief that’s for revenge porn, but the female that was here, the woman that was here, she gave consent to actually release it for sexual education, it’s not just like porn, it’s for educational purposes," one follower told FOX 5.

Members said everything sexually has happened on took place among adults and was consensual. They said several women come and go from the organization because they don’t necessarily like what they learn about themselves.

Supporters of Bishop said this is just another organized attack against him.

Three accused drug dealers have been arrested as part of an investigation into methamphetamine activity in Wythe County.

Antonio Isaiah Reynolds is charged with two counts of Possession of meth with intent to distribute. Quenzell Gavan Payne and Aaron Darnell Edwards are charged with Possession with the intent to distribute greater than 100 grams and Possession of a firearm while distributing Schedule 1 or 2 drugs.
