Charlie Kirk shooting: Second person of interest released in death of conservative activist, head of FBI says

Charlie could have been whacked by MAGA!
I mean tree huggers, and save the whale pinkos don't generally hire hit men!
He was too close to revealing the Epstein files, so you could be correct. Stephen Miller's secret police had Kirk whacked. It's a twofer; Kirk is silenced and Trump gets to rant about the evil Democrats poisoning the blood of our nation and murdering Charlie.

To make this conspiracy work, Miller needs to find a patsy and kill him "resisting arrest".

Charlie Kirk, one of the most powerful and influential MAGA podcasters, devoted Tuesday's podcast to extensive interviews about Jeffrey Epstein — a day after he and several other MAGA figures suggested they would take President Trump's advice and move on.

  • Andrew Kolvet, the show's executive producer, told Axios that Monday's viral clip had additional context: "Charlie is not done talking about it. The ball is in the administration's court to find a solution."
Why it matters: The MAGA blowback over the handling of Epstein evidence is a rare instance of the president's base bucking his wishes.
  • On Tuesday's show, Kirk urged the Trump administration to fix the Epstein mess by disclosing more information.
  • The conclusions from the Justice Department and FBI that the disgraced financier did not have a "client list" and died by suicide have prompted anger from Trump-world, often with Attorney General Pam Bondi as their top target for punishment.
Between the lines: Trump has urged his rattled MAGA base to not "waste [t]ime" on the Epstein case, and tried to stifle the outrage.

  • In a lengthy Truth Social post Saturday, the president wrote that "selfish people" are trying to hurt the administration, "all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," who he described as "somebody that nobody cares about."
  • Many key voices on the right certainly do still care about Epstein and aren't buying the administration's dismissal.
Driving the news: Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, said on his show on Monday that he will "trust" his "friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, ball's in their hands."

Look at the middle finger for that disgusting pig woman. She and every other loser here are scraping for the closest thing to joy they’ll ever feel. It’s not real joy, just a sad flicker, but it’s all they’ve got. They’re all the same: useless, unremarkable, bitter, hate-filled nobodies. They’re giddy watching their fellow libtards act out their sick fantasies.

Imagine living like these pigs, seriously. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but it’s their choice, and I’ve got zero pity for their rotten, black souls. Just now, watching 9/11 footage and seeing the same scum the left now defends and promotes on our campuses today, cheering like rabid animals, shows just how vile so many have become.

A well-known member here openly hoped for more killings like Charlie’s on this site, and the owner still lets that piece of shit spew his deranged, mentally ill garbage? I can’t wrap my head around it anymore.

I only hope this tragedy speeds up their downfall, that people finally see these delusional scumbags for what they are and keep them far from any position of power ever again. It’s time for the Democrat Party to crash and burn into the history books as the pathetic failure it’s always been, paving the way for an American revival that spits in the face of any hatred for the greatest, freest, most generous, and good country the world has ever known.

God bless Charlie Kirks family and ease their suffering. As for you scumbags that will comment with more vile bullshit, I know you need an outlet for all that hate so fire away losers, today is as good as it will ever get for you, you've got Charlies death to celebrate and as an added bonus you can watch the footage of two symbols of capitalism collapse and kill so many that dared to achieve more than you ever could. Congrats!
I often say it's a blessing not to be them.... And i've never meant it more than I do today.... I also always say let them post... And reap what they sow... Use by the way... a very powerful message from you to them...... truer words never spoken

Exactly what makes you think that assassination will make those folks afraid? I'm curious as to what would make you believe that this kind of thing would bring an end to what you call "MAGA madness". This too should be in a thread of its own as I think it would be an interesting discussion.
Make what folks afraid? It won't. I'm saying a lot more Americans will end up D-E-A-D before Americans say "Enough!" and demand an end to the MAGA madness.

What do you think would "end" the "MAGA madness"? You are saying that more crazies will assassinate more folks, got it. I am asking you to describe how you believe the "MAGA madness" will end. I don't see it ending as long as folks are making martyrs.

I've been comparing it to the Vietnam protests of the 1960s. Lots of demonstrations, lots of riots. The civil rights movement was part of it as was the women's rights movement much like we have now. Most Americans are too busy with their own lives to pay attention or say much. It took the Kent State massacre for enough Americans to collectively say "ENOUGH!"

Trump wants his Kent State moment. It's why he keeps pushing Red State National Guard units into Blue areas. He wants a confrontation. I think he'll get it.

Madness = craziness. I'm saying the right-wing craziness will end as most people push back to center and away from extremes.

Chicago might be more than ICE can handle!

I think that this is not a step in that direction, and more of this will lead to more division. There is no world in which martyrs created through assassination make folks less likely to move forward with the kind of beliefs you are calling "extreme". I don't think much of what Charlie had to say was all that extreme. I think calling every disagreement with the leftist agenda "extreme" is just a different form of actual extremism.

In these United States we should understand that folks that disagree with us have a right to say things in a public forum, and that any sign of violence in an attempt to end such differing opinions is terrorism trying to push a political agenda. We should defend our rights, not pretend that someone somehow "deserved" it because their disagreement with you makes them "extreme".

Whoever shot him knew what they were doing. This wasn't some "run-of-the-mill" asshole.
Although a 200 yd. shot isn't all that complicated, the angle and getaway seems to be.
