Chicago Democrat Asks Gang Members To Refrain From Shootouts Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

This is unreal, a Mayor says stop shooting people 9 to 9. Instead of saying stop the shootings altogether...If you read into this...its a disgusting move by the mayor. Hes asking them to do all the killing at night, not during the day..because its hurting tourism and sales and our bottom line, of course the Mayor and city hall used a different excuse...it will save lives

Chicago Democratic alderwoman Maria Hadden asked gang members to refrain from shootouts between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. to reduce the risk to people "not involved in high-risk activities." An email from Rogers Park-based Native Sons, known as "The People's Ordinance," said making a deal with dangerous gang members will help keep the liberal city safe from accidental killings.

We have to start somewhere," cofounder of Native Sons Tatiana Atkins said of the ordinance, according to CWBChicago. "Our goal is to approach our city's gun violence problem strategically and not all at once. Things didn't become this way overnight, and change won't happen overnight."

Shootings are up significantly in Roger's Park this year, with Chicago police suggesting a re-united gang war between local Gangster Disciples and Black P Stones in Uptown is to blame.

"If people know that after a certain hour, the likelihood of them being shot by an unknown and unprovoked assailant is at a higher risk, they will be less likely to be out and about, and they may become more proactive with the supervision of their children, Atkins added. "When those who live a certain lifestyle try to hang with 'regular' class citizens, they put everyone at risk."

In other words, when nighttime hits, the city turns into the Purge, and all Hell is allowed to break loose.

First off, this is old, already had at least two I’d not more threads on the same narrative

Second, “earl” lied, it ain’t the mayor of Chicago, rather a low level neighborhood politician

And Third, “Townhall’s” framing is bullshit, it is the local politician, and a local community group, asking gangs involved in a territorial war over a neighborhood park, to at least stop shooting at each other when neighbors and kids are using the park, not a City wide pardon to shoot all you want between nine at night to nine in the morning

So easy to spot and discredit these shit threads just by the shit sources employed

She is an alderwoman asking the gangs to only shoot people from 9 P.M to 9 A.M.

It would be nice if the Democrats who control Illinois would actually do something to control the shooting of their citizens 24 hours per day.

Chicago and Illinois have some of the toughest gun laws in America.

It might help if far left Democratic Socialists loons would prosecute thugs who commit crimes, Anchovies.

All over America,George Soros prosecutors refuse to prosecute criminals who commit violent crimes.

The “too many guns argument” is a moot issue unless you repeal the Second Amendment.

And I hate having to explain the Constitution to the MAGA militia, but for the umpteenth time, no, none, zilch, right in the Constitution is absolute, never was, never will be, they are, and have always been, regulated

Yes, George Soros has funded prosecutors and district attorneys all over America, who do not prosecute violent crime.

You’ve seen it over and over and when you do not prosecute crime, you get more of it.

Words mean something and the wording of the Second Amendment is absolute, even though the left tries to deny that words mean something. Every time that the left says that the Constitution is not absolute, we lose more of our rights and more of our freedoms.
