Chief Economist at US Chamber of Commerce: Biggest Return to Welfare State

He's going to drop money out of a helicopter till we get growth.
I'm more worried about inflation than anything.

I don't think you'll find any credible economist that does NOT believe welfare state spending exploded with this budget.

And what about the 800 bill or so of corporate welfare that Bush pushed thru while he was still in? + the trillion or so the feds had already dumped into the finiancial system?

You wanna talk pork?
Lets talk the big corporate pork.

A fair enough point, as you will recall most Conservatives were against that, I'm sure you remember Watermark, Onceler and ib1 among others on the left that were pushing for that.
That one was supported by Bush and the Dems, a lot of Repubs were against it.

Bush is not all Repubs and he sure as hell is not Conservative.
