???....I admit I just glanced through it, but I didn't see anything of a political nature......where do you conclude he was "rightwing"?......

I hate to hear those stories.

The crazy who aren't crazy enough to spend their lives institutionalised, but crazy enough to eventually do something like this.

But according to the CNN report I read today, he was a registered sex offender; had kidnapped and raped a woman and was released after serving 10 years of a 50 year sentence. He apparently met his wife while he was in prison, no details given. His first (convicted) offence must have been pretty horrific to have evoked such a stiff sentence in the first place. I'll bet that his victim from that case and the law enforcement involved were really pleased to see him released after serving only a fifth of his time.

His religious fervor may be genuine; it frequently is a flagrant symptom of schizophrenia. It also can be a manipulative ploy adopted by people serving time -- it's a way of passing the time and it is believed to look good to the authorities and the parole board. Given that he continued this up to the present, my bet is on Door #1.

My guess is that either she worked there or was some sort of volunteer. In the facility where I worked we occasionally would have to deal with the type of volunteer who just wanted to "save those criminals", and felt that their desire to help was enough, because after all what they really needed was a little understanding, right? These people typically exercised zero caution and swallowed whatever lines they were fed, never saw how they were being manipulated. It never ended well, and often very badly.

That's just a cop out. I have a 20 month old niece. You claim to have grandchildren. God forbid some sick f*ck like this guy where to ever try and harm one of your grandchildren would you be like 'well he's a liberal so its ok because he's not as bad as a conservative'?

The guy who did this sh*t is a sick fuck yet all you do is try and make political jokes about it along with a troll. That's lovely.

He should never have been released, period. Even his neighbors said he was a weirdo. He impregnated the girl he kidnapped twice and she and the 2 kids lived in a tent in his back yard for years and never had a normal life. Why someone didn't question the tent and the kids crying in his backyard is pathetic. He also buried the kidnap car in his backyard. I would sic two or 3 pittbulls on him and let him die in excruciating
pain.
