why ban SA?
The ban is on TERRORISTS STATES or those unable to document or documentation of travelers is in question.

It's why Syria and Libya are banned -but SA is not. It has nothing to do w/9-11
It has everything to do with being able to have confidence in whom is traveling here.
Iraq is not banned.

we can't do that while we are busily out spending Russia on Cold War 2.0..

It's outspending, out manning, out performing Russia to the tune of hundreds of billions
and many layers of weapons.
It's demonizing Putin instead of engaging Putin for the benefit of the MIC and the Russiaphobes instead.

I wouldn't go so far as "Russia is a fly on our ass" -they do have the worlds 2nd largest military.

we are now facing "nuclear tipped cruise missiles" (battlefield nukes) because Russia can't keep up with our spending

What you fail to see, regardless of the "righteousness" of your cause concerning Russia/Putin, it aint going to happen for a long time, & then assuming Putin doesn't get busted again...

IMHO it is simply stupid & another waste of time....

Why all of a sudden do we have a leader deciding pretty much on his own to buddy up w/ a country that just hacked us, hacked our elections??

The very guy that is possibly a benefactor of that hack??

Now even if we give him the benefit of the doubt, does not mean we should Russia...

This needs to all play out, that isn't going to happen over night & there will always be a shadow cast over him & his admin, you should get use to that sooner than later..

Relations are at an all time low -we are very close to conflicting w/Russia over Syria.

My only hope is that when Trump and Putin meet they can cut thru some of this nonsense,
and start playing some realpolitik instead of Deep State Russian Blues..

Look at my sig. the Kissinger quote and the part about sanctions.
What we are doing now doesn't help Russia/Europe or ourselves.

Only John McCain and his Warpigs Band comes out the winner

Trump has declared war w/ the media, from the get-go. What kind of tone do his supporters expect? If you're whining about "Trump hysteria" and "derangement syndrome," you're blaming the wrong people. It starts w/ Trump.

Gergen made a great point tonight about how top down that kind of stuff is. Reagan set a completely different tone w/ the press, and they treated him w/ a lot more respect as a result. Reagan was comfortable in his own skin - as much as I disagreed w/ him, he was a natural leader.

Trump is the opposite. He's such an insecure man - healthy, well-adjusted people don't do what he's doing.
