JFK looked the other way when big banks started violating all the safeguards put in place to prevent the same corruption and scams that caused the Great Depression. It began with not preventing the creation of the illegal market for CD's, and got worse from there. Both the Left and the Right started to promote monopolies and technocracy over anti-trust laws and the belief that the elites know better how to run the economy. John Kenneth Galbraith was hired to propagandize the Left and Robert Bork was hired to promote it among the Right, along with Milton Friedman and others; many 'academics' were paid very well by corporations to indoctrinate university students to peddle the myth.

The concentration of wealth is even greater now than it was in the 1920's.


The Watergate Babies finished off what was left of the safeguards. Trump is trying to correct some of it, but of course few in the GOP actually support his efforts and certainly no Democrats want to do away with totalitarian control by its billionaires of the economy.

They did not have to steal anything. Our owners and corporations moved to China. lock ,stock and intellectual property to get low-cost unprotected labor and no environmental regulations. Trump tards know so little. Innovation is done by the manufacturer. Even Trump tards can figure out who is modifing and perfecting the processes we gave them. China invested in higher education too. They have engineers and mathematicians graduating like crazy. We allowed our colleges to adopt for profit thinking. Our education is horribly expensive.
Before our owners moved to China, there were laws against up taking computer, manufacturing systems, and management techniques to China. Even a Trump can figure out that they evaded those laws to get maximum short-term profits.
China did not have to do anything. Our wealthy and powerful handed it over.

Our education system mostly does not educate.....education is no longer the purpose of the education system....for instance people now regularly graduate from universities dumber than they were on their first day.
