Christ sacrificed Himself on the cross to erase your bad KARMA

uh goyim , read what you call the old testament, no one can die for another's sins, that is a pagan concept introduced by the con man paul and the dumb goyim bought it

YHWH becoming a man,can become the Passover Lamb, and die for your sins,to free you from the office and Authority of the Passover Angel.

There's no such thing as "karma". The idea of "karma" is associated with Hinduism and Buddhism, not Christianity.

Karma is simply a shorter version another person might say what we Christians would say.... "we reap what we sow".
;) Peace to you and a blessed joyous Resurrection Day!

Happy Easter!

Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, and that is how I prefer to think of it.
HIs crucifixion obviously did not happen on Easter. Although Good Friday is an important liturgical event - but the spiritually important element of Easter, as far as I can tell, is the resurrection.

Orthodox Chrisitans will greet each other on Easter with the customary greeting "Christ is risen!" - the focus is on the significance of the resurrection.

At any rate, I follow the Julian liturgical calendar, so for me Easter is on April 28. But the good thing about having an Easter celebration on both the Gregorian and Julian calendars, sometimes I get twice as much candy!

I respectfully disagree, karma is an actual religious doctrine, and it ain't Christian. But I get what you're saying.

Thank you, Happy Easter to you and yours. :)

He is Risen!

You're right. It is a another religion's doctrine. I'm only noting that the particular "sentiment" of that one word (not their entire religion)
is what we as Christians would know as "you reap what you sow". Hope that helps.

Can you list all the great atheist ancient civilizations? How about just one?

All Cultures had to explain 'Creation' and the Forces of Nature. Each one had their own 'Stories'. Fascinating that where ever you go, there is an 'Explanation' of how things started.
Ancient People had to invent what was 'Unknown'. Modern People use Science to explain things.

That's odd. It says in the bible that he was grassed up for execution by a bunch of pro-Roman Jewish Pharisees who considered him a danger to their establishment.

Jesus was executed by the occupation authorities, as were people American-occupied Islam, for the standard imperialist reasons.

I am not sure why posters are holding out Easter as a commemoration of the crucifixtion, which did not happen on Easter.

I can't speak for protestant or catholic traditions, but in my life experience the whole point of the Orthodox celebration of Easter is to celebrate the resurrection, the spiritual significance of it. The customary greeting given by Orthodox chrisitans to each other on Easter is "Christ is risen!". I actually cannot recall them making the focus of Easter on the crucifixtion and death of Chirst on Good Friday. Without the resurrection there would be no Christianity, the crucifixtion not withstanding.

I am not theological expert, but I appreciate the aesthetic quality of celebrating the resurrection, rather than the bloody torture, and death that occurred on Good Friday.

Christians get to do what they want because Jesus

The teachings of Christ are one of the real reasons that idiots like you are not dragged out into the street and hung or put on fire. How about you and the rest that think like you get you sorry sniveling asses to church and think about that.

Well alrighty then. And, that concludes our sermon for today!

All part of God's salvation plan. The OT prophesies were fulfilled.
