Go back and look through History. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, any and every city-state had their Gods and the Stories (now called Myths) behind then to explain the 'Unknown'.
Ancient People believed in their Priests, Witch Doctors, Shamans. Modern People believe in Logic, Reason, and Science.

I don't mean to bore you with things like facts, but last time I checked, 95 or 98% of "everyone' believes in a higher power.

And the latest theories in physics postulate that the 3rd dimension is a holographic illusion, ... that there only 2 dimensions. I guess your limited senses have deceived you. :dunno:
