Church explodes in NYC...

Does anyone think the Benghazi false outrage would have been even mentioned if it were not for the fact that they needed something to use against Secretary Clinton....?

Benghazi was clearly a terrorist attack from the start, and the President identified it as such... What type of a terrorist attack was what was in question, and the R's overplayed and continue to overplay their hand while dancing on the chests of those who died, simply because Secretary Clinton was the head of the State Department when these terrorists attacked.

Well, if you think 2 weeks later is "from the start".....what he said was, no act of terrorism, etc. etc.......a very general statement.

Holding a knife to someones throat is an act of terrorism, but not a terrorist attack in todays common parlance of the word...

50 men with AK47's, mortars, explosives, APG's, etc. is not a spontaneous event and can be called nothing less that a terrorist attack....simple common sense.

1) It is hardly false outrage... but good of you to show your true colors. If a Dem is in charge, not a big deal when Americans die needlessly.

2) It had little to do with Clinton... who was running for re-election at the time Garud? That is, in my opinion, why the Obama admin continued to try and distort the events.

Well...there was the Ft Hood shootings.

Righties whined about how Obama didn't call that a terrorist attack.

AND

Cry me a river.

Another Rightie can't take being proven wrong so out comes the invective.

And NO...it WASN'T a terrorist attack.

It was just another gun-loving nutjob shooting up his place of employment.

Yeah....and we still whine about it....

Hasan justified his actions during the Fort Hood shooting by claiming that the US military was at war with Islam.
Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar as he gunned down 13 people and wounded 29 others.
Obama's DOD still refuses to call the shooting a "terrorist attack"...

arguing that granting Purple Heart awards to the wounded victims would somehow prejudice Major Hasan’s upcoming trial because it would be tantamount to a branch of the government rendering a judgment that he is a terrorist and therefore already criminally culpable,” wrote Andrew McCarthy.

“If they are capable of shame, administration officials ought to be ashamed by this frivolous claim, which dishonors not only Hasan’s victims but also the military justice system itself.”

But lefties seem to know no shame......

GOP bill declares Ft. Hood shooting an act of terrorism, not workplace violence

Pisses me off just to remember it.....don't know where things stand today, but Hasan is probably still getting a paycheck from
Obama's DOD......

Holding a knife to someone's throat, depending on your reason for doing it, could certainty be a terrorist attack.

Okay, if you are outraged because people died, that is a different thing... if you are outraged by what happened after the people died, that is a different thing.... You are mixing your outrage!

Outrage is your word. You want to exaggerate my position.

1) Yes, it was an error in judgement that should not have occurred. It was a poor decision on security. Whomever made that call to not beef up security when it was requested in a known hot spot should have been held accountable.

2) What happened after was indeed another example of poor leadership. It happened right before the election and the Obama admin desperately tried to play it off as a spontaneous event. Which was a complete fabrication. That too should have seen heads roll.

Okay, so your outrage is based on two different things. Lets talk about #2, because you guys seem much more outraged about that than the one that caused deaths.

So, a spontaneous event cant be terrorism?

Yeah, it could be....but just the act alone without any other information, is an 'act of terrorism'......

How is it, a Muslim, gunning down 13 people while yelling "Allahu Akbar" is only workplace violence to Obama ?....

Who says its "only workplace violence" to him?

Garud thinks that Republicans have said that Obama should declare everything bad a 'terrorist attack'. He bases this on their mocking Obama for trying to avoid calling ACTUAL terrorist attacks for what they are.

Its actually their mo in most debates, take the issue to the extreme in all cases.....Oh look, Joe stepped on a nail and Obama didn't call it terrorism......
If it wasn't for 'strawman' arguments, they'd have nothing to post.

I am mocking the false outrage the Republicans continue to have every time the president takes his time after a true terrorist attack.
