Over the course of several threads I have noticed several different questionable sources used as cites for information used by the left in their arguments, when they are not childishly attacking other members, and debate opponents. For as long as I can remember on the net, in different forums, one constant is that when a conservative uses an opinion, or a news article as sourcing for their opinion, it is instantly decried, and defamed by the left as instantly un-credible, and dismissed.
This tactic is, aside from being purely frustrating in civil debate, it is Alinsky tactic, and dishonest. And it should be noted that we as conservatives also do our own fair share of complaining about certain web sites as well, but the difference, and an important one, is that when we complain about sites like thinkprogress, dailyKOS, and lately the dangerous website 'thefogbow.com', which as a side note if I were an administrator of this site, would not allow to be used here. These are some of the original "obots" and, thugs and hackers that should you draw their eye, will stop and little including in person intimidation, and fraud to destroy you. An eye opening interview with a person known as "Tracy" who uncovered who the people behind thefogbow are, and their connections here:

One thing I have to hand to progressives, is that they are absolute masters at concocting entangled webs of deceit to hide their tracks, so that others like Bijou here can say "prove it" "prove it" "prove it" and then add in the caveats about citing, and documenting all the way through while she and others continually dismiss anything in response.
On thinkprogress, we know who runs the site that would be John Podesta of Clinton fame, backed by George Soros. Here is the web they have constructed:
Thinkprogress are not a truthful endeavor, instead they are dissemblers and propagandists that are out to lead the sheeple into their distorted manner of thinking.
TP exists by twisting, and outright lying about republicans...Like here:

so, the conclusion is that they at best are radical partisan hacks, at worst are just plain liars that could care less about their credibility.
There are legitimate debates that can be had about these topics, but when you are forced to see page after page of snark, insult, childish mockery, and outright lies in the form of sites like TP, fogbow, demo underground, or dailyKOS to mention a few, it is absolutely laughable when a liberal in here tries to mock their opponent for using an opinion represented as such, and distract the conversation in that manner.
Your sites are laughable libs, and are bare for all to see as the liars, and corrupt shills they are.

On thinkprogress, we know who runs the site that would be John Podesta of Clinton fame, backed by George Soros. Here is the web they have constructed:
Think Progress is a "project" of the American Progress Action Fund (APAF), a "sister advocacy organization" of the John Podesta-led Center for American Progress (CAP) and CAP's entities such as Campus Progress. It also draws freely on the resources of the George Soros-funded Media Matters website edited by David Brock.
Think Progress is an Internet blog that "pushes back, daily," by its own account, against its conservative targets, and supports the APAF agenda: to transform "progressive ideas into policy through rapid response communications, legislative action, grassroots organizing and advocacy, and partnerships with other progressive leaders throughout the country and the world." Think Progress promotes an agenda identical to that of the left wing of the Democratic Party.
"What We're Fighting For," says the Think Progress website, are: "Social and Economic Justice," "Healthy Communities," "Global Leadership" and "A Secure America." These terms are code for an agenda that is anti-capitalist, suspicious of the American military, obsessed with multilateral restraints on U.S. power, and distributionist in domestic fiscal matters.
"What We're Fighting Against," says the Think Progress website, are: "Corrupt Establishment," "Incompetent Establishment," "Braindead Media," and "Radical Right-Wing Agenda.”
The editors and main bloggers of Think Progress are Judd Legum and Christy Harvey.

TP exists by twisting, and outright lying about republicans...Like here:
This morning at a breakfast hosted by Politico, Mike Allen asked Eric Cantor about allegations of anti-Semitism in the House Republican caucus. The issue was originally raised by the press because Cantor donated $25,000 to a Republican candidate challenging incumbent Jim Manzullo of Illinois, who had once said that Cantor couldn’t be “saved” because he was Jewish.
Allen asked Cantor, “have you detected any anti-Semitism among members of Congress?” Cantor said “No,” and then stated that he “didn’t want to talk about those comments,” (presumably the Manzullo statement), calling it “the darker side” of politics. Allen continued to prod him, saying “so you’re saying there is a darker side,” and Cantor explained that he did believe there were problems of religious and racial intolerance in the U.S. When Allen came back at his general comments by saying, “we’re talking about the House Republican Caucus, not America,” Cantor didn’t respond.
Of course, Cantor’s negative response was entirely clear, and his office, when reached for comment, pointed to the fact that his answer was clearly, “no,” there is not evidence of anti-Semitism in Congress.
But that’s not what ThinkProgress got from the video, headlining their post with the spectacularly dishonest assertion, “Cantor Suggests Anti-Semitism Is A Problem Within The House GOP Caucus.”
The post elides the fact that Cantor said “no” to a question asking precisely that. TP reported, “Calling it the ‘darker side,’ Cantor responded to Politico’s Mike Allen’s question of whether there is anti-semitism in Congress by trying to avoid commenting.” While TP is understandably eager to portray the House GOP caucus as “the darker side,” they’re not just spinning his words, they’re lying...

Think Progess has a post up today on a recent townhall event held by Congressman Dan Lungren and what they think is a scathing indictment from a hostile audience member - click here for the post.
As it would happen, what the folks at Think Progress find to be so damning is nothing more than an incorrect assumption, if not outright lie. During question time at the town hall, the aforementioned audience member incorrectly portrays the Pledge as a promise to Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform. The spending interests on the Left repeatedly try to misinform the public with this tired and patently false claim. ATR noted the following earlier this year when similar lies were lobbed at Republican state legislators in California:
Critics wrongly contend that California legislators who signed the Pledge have vowed allegiance to some single person or organization. A quick read of the simple language of the Pledge proves such allegations to be false.

Think Progress (a misnomer if there ever was one) has a laundry list of lies, distortions, half truths and smears they have made on behalf of their benefactor, the Center for American Progress.
The people that run this site don’t think and their definition of progress is something you’ll find in bizarro world.
Adherence to the facts is something do not concern themselves with so it didn’t surprise me that they took a chance to politicize the awful shootings in Aurora Colorado. Nor did it surprise me to see them spreading falsehoods about the now defunct assault weapons ban, behaving as though this tragedy might not have taken place if the ban was still in place. It expired in 2004.
