On a local level I definitely see it as we have no elected Republicans therefore people can only complain about Democrats if they're unhappy - thus Democrats get broken up into the moderate and progressive camps and go at each other from that perspective

On a national level however, post 2016, there's been a lot of unity. This is the first time since 2016 (outside of issues with policing) have we seen division on the left. Israel - Palestine has always been a diving issues for liberals and because of recent events its now back out in the open.

And, a corporation, particularly among its top management, has every right to fire you for presenting a bad look to the corporation. She's hardly the first manager fired for saying stuff the corporation she worked for thought was giving them a bad image.

I think if she just roamed the halls of Citibank and just privately told her professional peers that Hitler was right to exterminate the Jews, she would have still been fired, regardless if it leaked out into public and affected their business.
