Oh, that reminds me, my boyfriend told me that he heard her new slogan is, "It always takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush".

I have no idea. There could be nostalgia for the clinton presidency.
However, Hillary is as formidable and skilled a politician as there is in her own right. She every bit the equal of bill clinton in terms of intellectual firepower and policy knowledge. I don't particularly care for her, but on that debate stage she can easily shred Bill Richardson, Barak Obama, and a lot of the other Dems. And I'm quite sure in a debate she'd chew up and spit out Mike Huckabee or Grandpa Fred Thompson.

except for the fact that Billy boy left with the country headed into a recession. God knows we don't want to hear in 8 years how it takes a Bush to clean up after a Clinton. Cause that would mean Jeb.
As far as I'm concerned, when Bill left the dollar was high, were weren't in any wars, and times were good. Then the dark cloud of the republicans was casted over us and I haven't been able to see the light since. say what you will about Clinton, but times were good then.

No arguing that the Reps have fubared a lot. The spend like liberals. But that doesn't change the fact that Billy didn't exactly leave office with a nice clean economy to pass along.
