Clueless

No, no more than some general or admiral. They are not the ones that should be deciding the exact details. Presidents should be deciding national policy and grand strategy not the details of a strike mission. Admirals and generals decide campaigns and overall battle strategies, not niggling little details like the time of an airstrike of what particular munitions will be used beyond broad categories.
It should also be that lawyers and such are NOT in the loop for such decisions.

Presidents set who we use military force against. They don't have to be involved in the details of using that force so long as it doesn't exceed the authority given to the military to use it. So, if Trump--or any President--tells the military to blow the fuck out of Yemen, they don't need every detail of how that will happen.

Non sequitur. Apples to rebar. Not the same thing.
Generals and Admirals authorize strikes and should be made aware of casualties including MIA. True, they don't need to know the minutia in planning but should be briefed on the strike prior to execution to give final approval.

Trump is a fucking moron who doesn't give a shit about US casualties unless it can be blamed on him....and he always denies responsibility for negative outcomes.

But it's better to bomb, kill, steal and bully, right Donald ?

Haw, haw..................................haw.
That screed is the biggest delusional pile of bullshit I've had to read in years. Jimmy Carter is a moron, and you are too for thinking he's correct.

I see Carter has the typical Leftist fixation on choo choo trains, a largely antiquated and outdated mode of transportation. Its biggest failing, and drawback being that it travels fixed, unchangeable, routes. Its second biggest is the massive cost of right-of-way, and intrusion on land-space.

Tate also misses that China is investing in those things for the purpose of political domination and subjugation of their neighbors. Military force isn't the only way--and in fact is the exception--that a nation gains power over other nations.

Like Biden and Obama, Carter failed entirely in foreign affairs due to a complete lack of understanding them.

What is the problem?
Isn't Trump doing a good job?
I thought all you MAGAS were cheering that he didn't need any help.
And was doing a great job.
No, no...you misunderstood...Joe has offered to come back and help the Democrats...but I don't think they accepted the offer...

Sure, Toxic. Cling to whatever crumbs you can find. One thing we can say about President Biden. On his worst day he still outshines you. You poor stupid cunt. lol

Well you said he was going to come back and help you didn't say who.

Funny as how there were so many threads under Biden.

Signal was a bust and looks like it will blow back on you. You're so desperate to create some sort of scandal - but you don't own the media anymore. Signal was all set to really hurt the enemy of the party. The little Goebbels of the democrat propaganda corps trotted out all the usual slander and demagoguery - but then Twitter and the alternative press, which is rapidly growing larger than the DNC propaganda, presented the facts that CNN and NBC had hidden. And well, you know the rest..
