CNN and Trump set aside beef for ‘town hall,’ and both draw fire for it

Donald Trump has spent the better part of the past seven years badmouthing CNN, attacking its reporters as “enemies of the people” and calling its reporting “fake news.” He once tried banning one of its journalists from the White House. He routinely mocks its eroding ratings.

Yet on Monday, CNN offered to put Trump on the air live for an hour in prime time — and Trump accepted.

"Norman Ornstein, the eminent political scholar, put it this way: CNN’s invitation to Trump “legitimizes a man under indictment, currently on trial, with more indictments to come, who incited a violent insurrection against the country and its constitution and democracy,” he told The Post.

CNN is under to leadership and to try and halt their loss of viewers they are turning away from their ultra liberal stance.

This is an example of that.

Trump was smart to take the interview

He organized a violent coup on Jan. 6.

He didn’t organize anything and even if he did organize a coup that does not make someone a fascist.

Would you like some names of people that organized coups against the British during the revolution?

I suppose you think George Washington was a fascist also

Trump must be desperate for attention.

I'd have to see the show to see if that's true.

All in all, I think CNN is giving Trump a chance to make a complete ass out of himself and to drive voters to more conservative candidates. <--- See what I did there? LOL

Name one thing he has done to indicate he is a fascist?

Bet you can’t

He supports white supremacy. Specifically, male white supremacy.

You claimed to be female. Do you think women should be treated as second class citizens in a white male dominated society, Peach?

He organized a violent coup on Jan. 6.

Agreed. A violent overthrow of the United States government and Constitution would, indeed, qualify as fascist.

Shades of burning the Reichstag! Since Pedo Don never had an original idea in his life, that's probably where he got the idea.
