No, a lot of Alaskans aren’t former Texans, they come from all over, many are military who stayed or returned, many were born there. Wasilla doesn’t have as many churches as the South, you just have never been in the South to make that comment.

Native Alaskans are a minority in Alaska, so I'm not buying it. I just used Wasilla as an example of an area that is mostly white and has a big problem with substance abuse and crime. Palin hasn't been mayor for years so we can hardly point at her as the cause. The bush villages have their own issues as well.

It is considered part of the South, they were part of the confederacy, but Texans see themselves as Texans. Georgia has a lot of churches, seems like one on each street corner.
