Translation: Yeah, that shaking hands stuff is just sooo blase... I mean, who would do that? Only a politician who had to actually RUN for their seat, I mean I'm a Democrat in Massachusetts!

(I would have spelled Massachuussetts wrongly in order to make it more realistic, but I don't think many would have gotten the joke...)
 
Just remember after this state steps up tomorrow and does the unthinkable voting Brown into office that we are the Cradle of Liberty that began the revolutionary war as well, first to end slavery in enact universal rights, forefront of the industrial revolution.. the list goes on an on.. SO never count us out.

Why yest they are. I said to a friend of mine that Bostons Hey day was over before 2007 as well and then the redsox won the series and the pats almost went on a perfect run... So lets see how the off season for the Pats goes. Brady was beat up with a busted finger, bad shoulder, and busted ribs and lost his best receiver, Moss had a bad back, and the defense is without a leader. The jets making this run is sure to light a fire under Craft and Belecheks ass.

Now its time to see how the bruins and the Celts do. I reluctantly renewed my redsox tickets plan last week. Think its a bridge year for them however.

no way man, redsox are a big market team, and we have much more money backing it up now then we had in the past. As long as we have a huge payroll, we are going to have good players and a good team

Our pitching is sick nasty this year. Lackey? Lester? Beckett? Of the top 14 pitchers in the AL, we have three of them. Not to mention Buchholz who is only increasingly showing promise. And who knows what will happen if DiceK gets his shit together.

We probably took a slight hit on offense but our improved pitching is going to hold down the fort. (I actually think this years team will be better than last years) This will be another 90+ win season, easily. count on it.

And the Rockies will continue in their drive towards historical mediocrity by trading all their good players and working as a farm team for all the rest of the MLB...

We shall see. I still think you need big bats in a line up. We prob will get wild card or division but any time we play a good pitcher its going to be tough. Im hoping we make a trade for Gonzalez in July.
 
I need to become a billionaire so I can buy the Rockies and actually keep good players, maybe win a Series or two...
