That's a very good point. The (R)s control all branches of govt. If Clinton's campaign conspired as they (falsely) claim, why isn't she being investigated and/or arrested???

Small problem with that lol.

If the Dossier was criminally obtained, then used as a basis [ok, one of them] for the Trump investigation, then the whole investigation is tainted by it.

Even your boy Mullet. It would appear his hands would be tied on it. Which is kind of fitting/funny lol.

It’s a moot point, anyway. The statute has never been applied to a failed attempt at collusion/oppo research. It would have an excellent chance at being thrown out on appeal.

Suffice to say, federal prosecutors don’t get to a 90% conviction rate by using novel applications of the law.

Can you cite even one example where the statute was applied in the way you persist in saying is a slam dunk conviction?
