Investigations into Price gouging is not remotely equivalent to demanding American companies sacrifice their profits to eat the cost of taxes.

What is really hilarious is that Wal-Mart overwhelmingly supports Republican candidates in terms of political contributions, but it's the Republican Party that is raising taxes on them and demanding they sacrifice profitability to eat the cost of taxes :laugh:

When Trump said that, he was admitting that tariffs would cost Americans more money. He lied from the beginning, saying they would not. Now he wants corporations to eat the costs, not the voters. Trump is so stupid.

I'm sure DT would love it to be a businessman and have the government start micromanaging his business, slashing his profits. He's be so patriotic he'd just understand it's something he has to do, right? You know, for the good of the country. Besides. It helps DT save face. Crazy Trump is trying to bully and intimidate companies into absorbing the tariff cost so has to keep his approval rating from sinking any lower, but Crazy Trump doesn't understand that if these companies are less profitable their stock prices will suffer, and then the stock market will drop, which is not going to be too good for Crazy Trump's approval.
