Tariffs make prices go up. The extra cost is passed on to the consumer. The American companies would jack their prices, too. Do you think they would pass up those increased profits? That is free money, no more work, and more profits.
Delaying the tariffs will not change anything. The companies have to plan as if the tariffs are here.
Trump's blustering will cost us a lot.

I have been saying this for some time now,
They will not only add the tariffs to the cost of the goods they sell but put on a few extra percent and pad their bottom line , making the CEOs a lot of money .
 
In a straight moment for a change,.........we are in fact adding a tariff charge. But its not bad at all actually. On a 200 K deal it might add 7 G's. Somebody dropping a couple hundred K isn't all that concerned about another seven thousand. They really arent. Another 7 % isn't going to make or break a deal and if it is they cant afford it in the first place. People realize were in a phase right now and in time it will pass. It's not enuff money to make people hold off because with labor the way it is they cant afford to hold off and wait,..they just have to smile and eat it.
