Condi Rice for VP?

LMAO... So even the Boston Herald is saying... 'meh...pretty good pick for Romney'... but BAC is still convinced, it won't be her!

Is this wishful thinking BAC, or do your really believe there is no possible way? I mean, $500... that sounds like a man convinced to me.

The Boston Herald is selling newspapers and clicks.

She would be a pretty good pick for Romney.

but:

1) He cant choose her and keep the right wing on his side.
2) I doubt she would do it, she can see the writing on the wall.
3) She would not play with most Republicans once they knew her positions on social issues.

I know politics.

Call it a gift. :0)

Seriously, this takes no genius. Start from here .. Has the Republican Party EVER had a person of color on the top of their ticket?

You think Romney is going to start?

Democrats had more blacks in Congress in 1970 then the republicans have had COLLECTIVELY since 1970.

What else do you need to know?

You mean like the medical tourism of Cuba. :0)

Cuba welcomes American medical tourists

The US ranks 38th in life expectancy .. and its dropping.

Stay the course?

I think not.

Yes, like that. Of course it isn't noted that Cuban health care that you pay for as a "medical tourist" is about 3000% better than the Cuban national gets unless he has cash sent to him and can afford to pay like the tourist.

Basically, people will do what is necessary to get care in a timely manner, even if it means traveling to get it. I read an article somewhere recently, I'll see if I can find it, that estimates that some 400,000 people traveled out of Canada to get care that they pay for out of pocket. They didn't all travel to the US, some traveled to Cuba where they can pay for care, some traveled to Mexico of all places where they paid for care, and some to the US where they paid for care. I'm sure some even traveled to Europe...

Anyway, when people are desperate "pay" is what they wind up doing. You either pay with waiting, or you pay with money. And when it comes right down to it those who can afford it get better pay no matter how you slice it.

Oh really?

Back that up.

Some of the tourists claim the opposite.

You think that Canadians who come here for treatment don't pay more than Americans?

The suggestion that the health and well-being of citizens is too expensive to consider makes no sense to me.

that's what puzzles me.....the reason Greece is failing economically isn't that it has an antiquated legal structure or faulty land registration.....it's that it's spending more on it's social support structure than it can charge in taxes......and that is precisely the problem that the American left is pushing us into.....Greece riots when reforms are attempted in those social support programs, while we cultivate even further reliance on them......

the Democrats have only had the clean, articulate, good looking ones......

There are lots of clean, articulate, and good-looking black people. Millions of them .. yet republicans haven't come across one.

back to the question .. Has the Republican Party EVER had a person of color on the top of their ticket?

.. and the background .. Democrats had more blacks in Congress in 1970 then the republicans have had COLLECTIVELY since 1970.

I remain convinced that it would be a pandering pick but a good one nonetheless.

There are some who say McCain was yella.

Our economy is nothing like Greece and state/municipal failures are not due to unions. They're due to mismanagement. Don't be ignorant.

3) She would not play with most Republicans once they knew her positions on social issues.[Nah...She'd never serve 8 years fora pro-life president.]

LMFAO

lol...I quit after I saw Uncle Herman and West's names. Although I'll admit Uncle Herman is articulate, it's more like in the manner of a snake oil salesman. As far as West is concerned, he's proof positive (along with Uncle Herman and our local token, Lloyd Marcus) that crazy can come is all shapes, sizes, sexes, and colors.

Thought I'd share with y'all my Halloween costume last year:
