why do blacks vote dem bijou? what does the dem party offer them?

FAR more opportunity for representaion than does the Republican Party.

Are you of the opinion that African-Americans don't need representation of THEIR agenda and issues?

Notice that the question's been asked TWICE rather than address what was asked first: what does the GOP offer? Answer: nothing.

really? how so?

your second question is beneath you. seriously. btw...how does the dem party vs. the gop represent "their" agenda and issues?

<draws sword> :0)

I'll gladly answer your questions even though you found it intimidating to answer mine.

1. Obama is a full-blooded black man ...but I do indeed find it sooo amusing listening to you now wanting to claim half a black man.

Obama's father was Kenyan. That is the African half. His mother was part Irish and part Cherokee, and not black. I happen to know his mother was part Cherokee, because she is related to me, according to Ancestry.com. (a little known Dixie fact) So Obama is certainly NOT "full-blooded" black.

But now... Democrats have had a few prominent blacks they COULD have put on the ticket... Shirley Chisolm? Bella Abzug? Jesse Jackson? Al Sharpton? John Lewis? And you would think, since 96% of the blacks believe the Democrats honestly represent them, there would have been at least a few instances through the years, of a prominent black being picked as VP candidate or something... cabinet position? anything? NOPE.

What we actually see, is the opposite. Hillary Clinton is responsible for raising the whole "birther" issue. She ran an almost overt racist campaign against Obama, and democrats sheepishly avoided discussing it at the time, and claimed she was somehow trying to win the redneck vote. BTW... for the pinheads, Hillary is the wife of "The First Black President," Bill Clinton....Democrat.

2. This is 2012 .. and there were more black democrats in Congress in 1970 than the republicans have had collectively since 1970. Have you got some statistic or data regarding blacks and republicans that support your disbelief of the obvious? Anything?

I don't know what statistics from 1970 to today, really have to do with this conversation. Why stop at 1970? Why can't we go back to 1960 and count the MANY Democrats who stood in schoolhouse doors or headed Klan rallies and advocated segregation for blacks? I mean, if we're going to go back in time? It was actually a Republican who freed the slaves. In fact, the whole entire reason and purpose behind the foundation of a Republican party, centered on freedom for black Americans, and indeed, ALL Americans. This is the cornerstone of Republicanism.

3. You've answered your own befuddlement. That answer is democrats .. so I ask again .. why are you confused?

So in the 50-60 years blacks have supported the Democrats, what has been done specifically, to help black people, and has this worked successfully?

Additionally .. Are you not aware that I am not a democrat? Are you surpried to know that I don't support Obama/

I am finding that statement very common these days.

This isn't about me, ain't (eb) about you. It's about the truth .. and if you can't handle the truth .. doesn't fit in the packaged meme .. not my problem brother.

<shields sword> :0)

Yes, it's about the UGLY truth that you don't want to face. Black people have been DUPED. For years, you thought you were supporting people who cared about your needs, because they showered you with programs and freebies, and you became dependent on it. They didn't help you achieve success or rise up from poverty, they kept you IN your situation, much like a slave on a plantation, too afraid to run away from the things you had become dependent upon and accustomed to. Do you really honestly think Lyndon B Johnson from Texas, was devoid of any racist thought? REALLY? The whole entire set-up from the start, has been racist in nature, because it presumes black people lack the ability to succeed without government. You are just too ignorant and stupid, don't you see? They have to give you help, because you are incapable, and you can't help it.

I am not talking about the CRA, I believe that did need to be passed, as well as the VRA, but all the floodgate of programs and assistance which followed in the wake, the "Great Society" programs. We passed an Act that says, you can not be discriminated against because of race...then we began passing programs into law, which specifically discriminated by race, by design! Affirmative Action, while some argue was a necessity, it really wasn't. We already had a law against discrimination. We needed to enforce the law, we needed to ensure that black people weren't being discriminated against, but we didn't need quotas and mandates. That policy is racist at it's core, because again, it presumes that black people are incapable of success on merit, they need help, the poor little ignorant people.

Bella Abzug was black? Really?

I am just asking for another meltdown....

:rofl2:

Dixie bella Abzug was a Russian Jew. I really want to address some other points in your post but it's too much to type on my iPad. All I can say right now is Madone. By the way Madone is not a black saying.

Both the Yurtard and PMP dodged answering the question you put forth, but still had the temerity to expect you to answer their questions.

Just another shining example of the Right Wing double standard.

Well okay, so big fucking deal! I gave Democrats more credit than deserved, that's one less prominent black Democrat they could have put on a ticket!

Feel better?

Is this article from THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZTION from 2012 incorrect?

WHO praises Cuba's health care system

HAVANA, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Cuba's health care system has a lot to teach the world, the deputy head of the World Health Organization (WHO) said Tuesday during a visit to the Caribbean island nation.

WHO Deputy Director General Dr. Anarfi Asamoa-Baah praised Cuba's health care standards and held the island's universal health care system as a model for other countries to emulate.

Asamoa-Baah is part of a visiting delegation of health experts, including WHO Director General Dr. Margaret Chan, Regional Director for Africa Dr. Luis Sambo, and Shin Young-Soo, regional director for the Western Pacific, who were to attend the first-ever meeting of the agency's regional directors held in Havana.

During a tour Monday of scientific institutions in Cuba, the WHO deputy director said he was impressed by the nation's "well integrated" health care system at all levels.

Asamoa-Baah praised the fact that all Cubans have free access to high-quality, high-tech health services and applauded the country's ongoing campaigns to eradicate communicable diseases.

He also praised the work of Cuban health care workers in more than 32 countries and the medical training offered by Cuban universities to thousands of students from around the world.

The WHO experts expressed particular interest in Cuba's biotech industry, which has developed vaccines to fight cancer and other diseases, and Cuban medical products are marketed in over 40 countries.

The WHO delegation is scheduled to meet Thursday with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and tour the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Havana.

On Friday, the group will attend the closing ceremony of the Congress of Geriatrics and Gerontology.

Advanced universal health care and education in Cuba are two of the main achievements of the Socialist Revolution launched in 1959 by former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Pardon me but I choose the opinions of the WHO rather than the National Review.

Additionally, yes and absolutely yes there are mountains of US propaganda about the failures of everything Cuba. Surely you aren't naive enough not to recignize that. However, if you choose we can have a debate right now on the Cuba of Batista and US/mafia control.. and the Cuba of Castro. Anytime you're ready, jump right in.

Why stop with the history starting in 1940?
Why not go back to 1762?

I asked you a question and instead you got defensive and posted an article that you CHOOSE to accept and apperently completely REJECTED anything else that is different then your allready decided conclusion.
This isn't a debate, it's just the act of throwing articles and seeing which one hits the other.
I also wasn't aware that an article written by someone who was given a tour, is more accurate then the information coming from those who live there.

Remember the acts of the Nazi's, when the POW camps were inspected. They handed out new clothes, blankets, sheets, etc and when the inspectors left, it was all collected back.

Since you're anti-anything that disagrees with you; I won't bother. :palm:
