WTF are you talking about?....There was no conservative free market ideology....there was TOTAL DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF OUR GOVERNMENT....
They made the laws
They made the regulations
They controlled the money
They wrote the countrys budgets
They steered the nations economy
They controlled the tax laws

THEY CONTROLLED EVERYTHING....and when you ask them, they will brag about all they accomplished in those years of rising socialism and union activity in the country....

they couldn't survive the increased burden placed on them by Democrat Liberal pinheads who wanted to try and implement socialists policies in a capitalist system"

...neither you nor I can even guess how this enormous socialist scheme will be financed or how much it will cost each and every taxpayer

Personally I don't support either organizaton.....but then what I support is irrelevant and isn't the issue here.

The issue was the claim that the tea party is the Republican party base and is not an independent movement.
To which I made the observation that the same relationship could be made for the CPUSA and the Democrats.

Both claims have about the same validity....Tea Party people would identify with the Republicans in the same way the Communists would identify with the Democrats....similar beliefs.

Your comparison would have been better if you related the tea party to the John Birch Society, not republicans.
