Let’s see who will be in despair if the democrats take over in couple years from now.
I’m retired so I don’t give a shit anymore.
In the future I see more taxes, higher costs, a slower economy, more regulations, companies leaving the country.
In the meantime I’m going to sit on the beach in Florida and drink my strawberry daiquiri.
Good luck in the future asshole your job just moved to Mexico.
I have heard more people are moving to Mexico because the cost of living is cheaper which raises the question why would you want to sneak across the border into the states to live in some slum house in the intercity.

Most retired people collecting Social Security do not fall in the poor category--they have higher than average income. Again, your assumptions are wrong:

This is where you are totally wrong. According to the Census Bureau the median individual income in 2016 was about $31,000. Median means half are above that number. So if 50% of workers make more than $31,000 that means $31,000 is the 50th percentile.

Or, if we use the Bureau of Labor Statistics data for 2016 the median weekly earnings for all full-time workers was about $830, or $43,000 per year. That means the 50th percentile was $43,000. (I guess the $31,000 number included all part-time workers)

$30,000 is not the 67th percentile of workers. Those in the 67th percentile earned $89,000 in 2016.

You are including way too many voters in the "poor" category. So the poor white trash that voted for Trump and the poor black and brown trash that voted for Hillary are a much smaller group of the electorate than you project.

Those making below $30,000 made up only 28% of all voters--not more than half the voters. And Clinton won a majority of that category.
