Taft is banned from any thread I make, forever, for turning a thread about slavery into a "poor Jews" thread.
Yet another lib deploying homosexuality as a weapon of ridicule?
Has political correctness and sensitivity finally ended? Can I say something like; "You tapdance more in debates than a spook in a police interrogation room"....
Or haven't homosexuals yet reached the level of political reverence that blacks have reached?

Which is better than making a comparison to a poor white man vs a slave
A comparison that you did not have the ability to deal with.
Actually I refuted it several times....."a reductio ad absurdum."
To paraphrase you responses: "ZOMG!!! How can you say that?!?!"
Hardly a well considered and substantial response.

I actually cited facts. The poor white man was free to read, a black slave was not.....FACT
you're right taft... heck... if folks had their choice, I am sure that those white northern factory workers would have jumped at the chance to trade places with blacks in the south and be owned by other human beings. Their lives would have been no worse than in those factories, and the weather would have been so much better. Little annoyances like whipping posts would have been a small price to pay for all those holidays and sunny warm workdays.
but hey... I hear what you're saying... Being a black slave in the south was no worse than being a factory worker in the north. Whatever blows your skirt up.
ok.... being a piece of property that another human being can horsewhip whenever they feel like it probably ISN'T *significantly* worse than working in a sweat shop. At least the weather's better and the vacation time was better than Walmart.
Why don't you try addressing some of the situations I specified, mein Fuhrer?
why do I need to. According to you, being a slave...being the property of another human being was not significantly worse than being an industrial worker. Your words.... not mine...
