Here's an idea: a store puts a sign on a window saying that wearing a mask is optional. Let the free market sort it out. Win-win.
 
I have some nice open mesh cloth masks coming from Etsy. They won't hold up in the dishwasher like my paint ball mask does, but they breathe really easy.

Here is a cloth mask. There are very few masks that stop or contain droplets, and none that stop viruses.

I wear a cloth mask with a piece of heavy, tightly woven fabric underneath it.

The second underlying piece of fabric is cut from a car polishing chamois.

Nobody is claiming that masks are 100% effective, but you don't need to be a scientist to understand the basic concept that putting something like a cloth mask over your nose and mouth will reduce the chances of getting infected and reduce your chances of infecting others.

But we also that Trumptards, like their childish, belligerent leader, are just too contrary and pig-headed to accept or follow along with anything they are asked to do.

My paintball mask stops "some" virus tansmission too. It complies with mask rules, even if I wear it on the back of my head instead of over my mouth. Face masks can be worn on any part of the head.
