Hello Dutch Uncle,
There is no common Democrat any more than there are common Republicans. Democrats, like Republicans, are individuals.
It is a mistake to try to paint any picture of a typical Democrat or Republican because there is a lot of variability.
The difference being, there is more diversity among Democrats than Republicans.
Here are some tendencies of each group. There are no strict delineations, of course. Any mindset can identify with any group. These are just the ways I see most Republicans or Democrats.
Republicans: Conservatives who favor religion and more rigid traditional structure. They tend to resist change. Mostly white. A combination of super-rich greedy power junkies, male chauvinists, racists, haters and evangelicals. Tend to be richer than Democrats, but no hard fast rules about that. They tend to favor personal rights over concern for society or others. Tend to reject others who they see as different, whether it be immigrants or sexual orientation. Major concern: What is good for ME.
Democrats: Conservatives and Liberals who may or may not favor religion. A wide variety of races. Wealth can be anywhere along the spectrum, but tend to have less wealth than Republicans. They are more likely to embrace changing social structure. They understand society is comprised of vast diversity, so they tend to be more accepting of different lifestyles, thus they coalesce around social considerations over personal. That's true and very tragic.
The possibly encouraging figure is the Serious, Critical Cases at 16,378 appears to be dropping.
Oh, and look at the Total Cases.
We just surpassed 6 million total cases.
That's quite a lot more than '15 cases going to zero.'

Without a cure or vaccine, the cases, and deaths, will continue to cycle as people become complacent.

There have been 6 million cases in the USA.
There are 330 million people in the USA.
6/330 = .018
.018 x 100% = 1.8%
Only 1.8% of the USA population has been confirmed to have or have had COVID-19.
Guessing is not a good idea. Wrong could be dead. Antibody tests are not accurate, little better than guessing.
An individual who 'had something' but never got tested would be playing with their life to guess wrong.

You are thinking like Trump; less testing means less cases. That's your logic, isn't it? Only the verified cases exist?

I can't 'know' any complete information about unverified cases any more than anyone else can. That's why I did not claim to. Of course there are unverified cases. How many is a big question mark.
