The virus only has a preference for humans who allow it to spread, such as anti-maskers.

And really, the worst behavior is failure to maintain proper distancing. Masks are irrelevant if humans never come close enough to transmit the virus. Staying distant is the single most effective measure humans can utilize. Bars, restaurants and public venues such as schools simply cannot operate as usual. Modifications must be made to prevent airborne disease transmission.

Couldn't bring yourself to claim they are operating without any virus transmissions?

Man, they are spreading the disease. Desantis is being extremely foolish and partisan.

Most young people either get no symptoms or very slight. But they still become carriers and spreaders. It is the old and weak who are impacted the most by the irresponsibility of the young and strong.

It is highly irresponsible to say: "I'm not afraid."

People need to think about others, have some consideration.

Responsible well coordinated social behavior limits the spread of the disease, and is vital in controlling it.

China has done a far better job of controlling the spread than the USA has.

The pandemic has exposed a very big weakness of a free country which simply does not exist in a dictatorial communist country.

We need to understand that American patriotism means actively controlling the spread of the disease.

Being selfish is unpatriotic and hurts America.

It's official now. All the news agencies are reporting the half million deaths. The WH has honored the occasion in solemn style. Flags at half staff for 5 days, a somber respectful ceremony for the lost Americans.

The Washington Cathedral bell tolled 500 times.
 
More dead Americans than from WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam war, combined.

This FAR surpasses the predictions made early in the pandemic by the Trump administration.

Trump himself said we would be doing well if the number remained under 100,000.

Obviously, by his own standard, we did not do well.
