Still, it's one thing to scream "Fake virus!" and "no worse than the flu!" and another to bury your friends and relatives who are stupid.
Let's not forget, that "stupid is forevah!" so they'll keep attriting themselves in other ways to such as no flu shots, don't wear seatbelts or motorcycle helmets. The Darwin Awards are full of stupid people doing their part to clean out the gene pool. COVID is just the most recent means God is helping mankind get rid of idiots.
I heard a statistic. 97% of Americans don't even personally know anyone who died of COVID.
That jives with the figure I calculated that 1 in 338 Americans has died of COVID.
Only 3 out of a hundred have lost someone they knew.
That means 97 out of a hundred are free to make up their own minds about how bad it is. Not personally touched by it.
Add Fox news and gossiping peer pressure and there ya go. Toss in a little bravado and macho and you get: 'I ain't afraid a no virus and I ain't gonna get no shot if I don't want to.' Then they come up with all the excuses and reasons to support their own selfishness.

We are really seeing the figures come down.
Only 3,726 people in ICU's with COVID. Most of them are not vaccinated. They probably represent the remaining unvaccinated who did not already get COVID and survive.
The rest of us either got vaccinated and protected, or perhaps got the virus and didn't have symptoms. Or just lucked out so far; and still represent fertile ground for the virus to feast upon.
New unvaccinated bodies do enter the COVID ICUs every day to replace the ones that are dying. That's sad.
900 died just yesterday. Foolish deaths. Mostly preventable, if only they had wised up and gotten vaccinated.
There's lots of ways to die, but dying for BS is certainly among one of the most inglorious ways to go.
Well, at least it reduces the amount of Social Security benefits that would be paid out.

Sounds about right. Fortunately most people have common sense. It's pretty easy to tell who doesn't since they are the ones dying or stuck with Long COVID because they refused modern medicine.
I'm good with cleaning the gene pool but understand that every death is someone's kin. Sad but life isn't for sissies.

Agreed. No doubt the stupid factors correlate with the bell curve below but that curve doesn't take mental illness into account.

But the problem is the world has bottomed out and begun to see COVID making a comeback yet again.
World New Cases are on the rise just recently.
We'd like to think that we are finally getting done with it, but that may be premature thinking.
We have seen other countries get it almost gone and then it comes back and they have another wave, another surge.
It is very likely that could happen here in the USA.
Again.
We cannot let our guard down.
