Corona virus update

I'm very pleased to see that the number of cases and deaths is not as severe as projected early on during the pandemic. They are still horrendous, but social distancing measures have really succeeded in keeping the toll down. I hope we are smart about the re-opening business.

1,000,000 cases in less than two months.

Thank you W.H.O. and China. ;)

What's 1 million divided into 330 million? .3% That's less than 1% for morons on the left.

Placed into perspective:

Number of deaths for leading causes of death annually:

Number of deaths: 2,813,503
Death rate: 863.8 deaths per 100,000 population
Life expectancy: 78.6 years
Infant Mortality rate: 5.79 deaths per 1,000 live births

Heart disease: 647,457
Cancer: 599,108
Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936
Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201
Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383
Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404
Diabetes: 83,564
Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis: 50,633
Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173

Run virus hoaxers run.

No one called the virus a hoax. Why all the dumb lies? Still supporting your jerk-off of a candidate and hoping this will drag his sorry ass across the finish line? November is going to be harsh for you lying loons on the left. ;)

If 950,000 known cases, how many unknown? I’m still staying in.

Yet, before those economy killing measures were implemented we had about 189 deaths. Since they were implemented, we have had 48,000? Yeah, it's working great of you are math and fact challenged.

:palm:

Known cases? :rofl2:

Nobody knows how many cases there are.

Nobody knows how many have actually dies from the Chinese disease, thanks to dirty data and figure-fudging foolery.

Its really difficult to blame China for anything, since we have 15 documented instances since January when trump thanked China, trump thanked Chinas leadership and told them what a good job they were doing. I posted them already this morning.

Estimates vary from 4x to as many as 85x (that last one was from a California study).

As much as I miss our favorite local restaurants, I'm not dining out till we can be fairly confident of not receiving something extra with our meals. I suspect that most of us feel the same. Mr. Owl said he's got a bad feeling about the gym, as well. The haircut place though -- he doesn't trust me with scissors. lol

But... but... we have to blame SOMEONE (who isn't #COVID45)!

These Deplorables drink the TrumpBrandDenialKoolaid(tm) with their morning coffee.

No jackass; it's only hard to blame the real culprits if you are a brain dead retard loon on steroids. #fuckoff

Here's what Democrats were doing in January and into March:

2 January 2020 - Unredacted emails seen by the Just Security online forum reveal discussions within the Trump administration in which the Pentagon repeatedly sounded the alarm that the freeze on funding was in violation of the law.

7 January - Republican Senate leader McConnell accuses Pelosi of delaying the referral of the articles of impeachment against Trump to the upper chamber.

15 January - Pelosi refers the articles of impeachment to the Senate, triggering only the third impeachment trial of a US president in history. The New York Times reports that it marks “the beginning of a trial that has the potential to shape President Trump’s legacy and affect the 2020 election”.

16 January - Supreme Court chief justice John Roberts is sworn into his presiding role. Roberts also swears in the Senate’s 100 representatives who will act as jury in the trial of President Trump.

5 February 2020 - The Senate votes to clear Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney was the only Republican senator to vote to convict Trump, on the first charge.

January 26th: "It isn't something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about, because we have ways of preparing and screening of people coming in [from China]," National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci told "The Cats Roundtable" on 970 AM-N.Y.

Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions. Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see “The Traitor” @FilmLinc. If “The Wire” was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film.

March 8th: "At this time, there's no reason to close down mass transit, Maria. We haven't had -- to the extent, we have big numbers in New York, it's actually in Westchester, which is a suburban community, as you know, where you have a cluster of cases," Cuomo replied.

"And once you get that cluster, they tend to exponentially increase. And that's what we're dealing with in Westchester. But, in New York City, we have a relatively minor number so far."

What does any of this have to do with trumps love affair with China. It difficult to blame them for anything after all the things Trump has said. This is all about trump and has nothing to do with democrats. You are just bloviating another meaningless excuse.
