Coronavirus Has Broken America’s Food Supply

As I look out my window here at home I see people laying dead everywhere from mass starvation. The sheer horror of it all!  Drama queens will drama queen I guess.

Truthfully,....if you take a good look at most welfare recipients you dont see too many skinny ones. In fact,... most seem to be as fat as cattle. A little less eating might actually be good for them long term.

And they have closed the meat processors. Time to hoard meat!

I’ve got enough meat until about November or December. Got a calf that will be ready for a 22 bullet by then plus hunting seasons open up along the way...Squirrel May 15, Deer bow Oct. 1, Deer muzzleloader Oct. 26, Deer rifle Nov 23. Also, my freezer always has plenty of fish in it. We buy a little chicken along from Braums and some fresh veggies from the grocery store and that’s about it.

Also, haven’t they only closed the China owned Smithfield processing place? I’m not sure of that but I know that my brother works in the supply chain of a large processing plant located in a town nearby and they’re still going strong, with necessary precautions.

Cheap carb filled food makes you fat,but low nutrition

Dont they have enuff brain power to figure out that eating healthy if you do it right is actually cheaper in a lot of ways than eating unhealthy? But that would mean people actually having to get off theyre fat lazy asses and actually do some cooking so I guess that blows that out of the water...;)

Hey I know,... maybe the govt can also provide in home chefs for those folks who can cook healthy for them. That way they can place theyre order and not have to be bothered doing a thing.

Try poverty out,and you'll see it's not as easy as your dumb ass thinks it is!

If Trump stays in office hat will happen.

Oh look, the Twit Has Spoken!

Poor tard, do you really think all those ppl in the food pantry lines they're showing on the news are "liberals"? Even the ones in the South? You're even dumber than you look, if so.

Oh, sorry. I forgot that Breitbart and Daily Stormer don't show any news that might reflect poorly on #COVID45. lol

Is that Top taking her concealed in comment swipes at people, or am I missing what she's talking about? She's crazy lucky to live in Ohio. The governor took it in his own hands and nipped the issue at the bud when federal was still downplaying it.

That privilege is reserved for Trump's cronies.

I think it's lack of money that's causing this rather than lack of supply. Even up here in this rural area we have plenty of stuff in the grocery stores. But if you don't have a job and money to buy it, you're SOL.
I saw a news story on this plenty of food, farmers destroying crop because they were “bulk” suppliers to schools and restaurants. They have to figure how to redistribute it, expensive to change. Money is the issue.

DeWine is doing a great job. He looks to Cuomo, smart man.

Lots of Conservatives ... lining up for Free Stuff. (they are usually first in line when this happens)

I used to volunteer financial advise for a charity. Basically, I would help poor people as much as I could, and more importantly know when to call accountants and lawyers when I do not know the answer. There was a poor old man who came in with the problem that he was giving sandwiches to the homeless, and "rich white guys" started taking all the sandwiches. The next day I came to his housing project house, and helped him make sandwiches. Then I took the train with him to downtown Philadelphia, to the street corner he gave sandwiches to the homeless at. There were plenty of homeless, but there were also stockbrokers in very nice suits from one of the offices. They had seen there was free food, and decided to "steal lunch from a homeless guy." It was the most bizarre thing I have ever seen, and destroyed much of my faith in my fellow man.
