Coronavirus is plunging the global economy into its worst crisis since 2009

Apple does not trade on the NYSE. It trades on the NASDEQ. Massive changes in stock prices are a bad sign. What flies up will certainly plummet down. It makes it impossible for Apple to calmly build their business.

It is worse for a tech company that has to offer stock options. These wild fluctuations mean that random employees get the shaft, which causes all employees to be unhappy. Other random employees cost Apple far more amount of money than was budgeted for.

Not only do Republicans not know how to talk to people in other groups, they do not seem to know what good news is.

Why on earth would you say something that crazy? I keep thinking Alt Right accounts must be hacked and posting nonsense to make the owner of the accounts look bad. But no, this really is how crazy the Alt Right has gotten.

Oh my goodness

Walt Shitman I suspect is just an Owl sock.
You're such a depressing miserable sod, tell your mistress to get her hand out of your arse.

Havana gets very upset when people bring up reality to him.

I personally am doing well. I am getting paid not to work, which is always nice. With Wall Street collapsing, they do not need me working on tools they will use later, so I get a week off :-D

But America is doing less well.

Look sunshine, if you're going to be so fucking pedantic then it is spelt NASDAQ, shit for brains!!

That'd directed specifically at Guano, ask your mistress to explain.

I just think you're a miserable sod, but you're in good company here. The market is recovering and I took full advantage by buying up more of the FAANGs.

We will see what today brings.

The market is still down by 10%. The gains of a year are gone. That is not doing well by any reasonable person's standards.

It's a buying opportunity, stop being such a pessimistic sod!9

So the market went down by 15%, then went up by 5% (net down by 10%), and you say it is a buying opportunity. Then the market went down by 3% more.

Clearly the up 5% was a dead cat bounce. The question becomes where the real bottom is. The next question is when we will start seeing growth again. Clearly 2020 is lost, but we still have hope for 2021. Maybe there will be an adult in the White House then.

Here is a simple question: why are Democrats almost always so much better for the stock market and the economy than Republicans?

Trump pressured the Fed to drop rates. Powell cut it a half point, which is huge. The market tanked down 750. That is scary.
India is stopping exports due to the virus, China is too. Where exactly do rosy ass Trumpys get their optimism?

But the Alt Right still has their personal attacks, so they are sure they will be alright.

Quit the whining. Today will be a buying opportunity, maybe 500 point bounce. We will see.

If folks can understand the corona virus pandemic, while it will hurt our economy, is not going to end civilization, and while it will be far more than a nothing burger ~~ we will come out OK at the end

DJI up 500 in the first hour, I topped up with the FAANG's and they are doing nicely. They say the time to buy is when the lemmings are jumping off the cliff. Professional investors love idiots like you that's how they make serious money.

Since when did being optimistic amount to whining?

Because that's what you were doing. I was right about the 500 point bounce.

If the market can stay above 26000, the coming recession may be mild.

Depends on the Democrat in power, Sanders would be a fucking disaster for the stock market. As for buying opportunity, may be this will help you?

What is Buy The Dips?

Buy the dips refers to purchasing an asset after it has declined in price. Buying the dips has different contexts, and different odds of working out, depending on the situation in which it is utilised. Some traders may say they are buying the dips if an asset is in a long-term strong uptrend. They hope the uptrend continues after the dip or drop. Others may use the phrase when no uptrend is present, but they believe an uptrend may occur in the future. Therefore, they are buying when the price drops in order to profit from a potential future price rise.

The coronavirus is plunging the world economy into its worst downturn since the global financial crisis, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which warned Monday that growth could be cut in half if the outbreak continues to spread.

Global gross domestic product would grow by just 1.5% in 2020 if the coronavirus spreads widely throughout Asia, Europe and North America, the OECD said. That's roughly half the 2.9% growth rate the group projected for 2020 before the outbreak, and severe enough to push Japan and Europe into recession.

Ever hear about the boy who cried wolf? That describes the WHO. ;)
