That's because we came out of a pandemic that had everything shut down. The call-backs alone should have shattered that statistic. It's meaningless.

Sadly we were forced into a shutdown, because trump lied about the dangers of Covid from day 1, and never stopped.
Had he been honest from the beginning, we would not have been in the dire emergency that we were.

The Chinese tried to cover it up. It was here before anyone realized it. It was coming in on flights from China and Europe to every major airport in the US. We were screwed no matter what Trump said.

We were screwed because China released a disease that killed millions of people all over the world. They covered it up long enough for it to get on airplanes and carried all over the world. Nothing anyone could do, they were infected and passed it on without knowing it.
