Could Any American Citizen Actually Believe That This "Cop" Was On Their Side?

And if your local PD was patrolling the neighborhoods, someone just like you would be bitching that they weren't doing enough to stop those driving under the influence.
You still sound like someone who just got a DUI/DWI.

I would be glad my tax dollars are going toward police neighborhood protection. I would be glad that the DUI frenzy that has reached fanatical proportions thanks to the mothers against men and their lobby has finally subsided back to a sane level. So would the restaurant owners who make great profits selling drinks to their customers. So would people in those restaurants who enjoy having a glass or two of wine with their dinner.

I don't sit there in my home at night cheerleading the police out on the highways who are looking to fill quota DUI directives because I don't give a damn about the highways, I give a damn about the safety of my own neighborhood. If the police claim they're preventing crime by locking up somebody who's had a beer that evening and was stopped and put through a fascist blood alcohol test, I say the cops will be preventing crime by making a routine nightly on the hour patrol in my neighborhood instead.

I wonder how many DUI's Silly Phillys had?

This little queer doesn't want neighborhood citizens to have any police protection and he also doesn't want neighborhood citizens to have any guns either.

He wants his cops to enforce "social justice" and not enforce local laws and not racially profile anybody and he wants to cater to another one of his favorite victim groups, criminals.

So is there any wonder why liberals now like the police?

wow

this is a free country and anyone can walk the public streets anywhere at 10pm and has a right to be THERE.

see you dont know the constitution or what it means

Give me one good reason why anybody except a nutcase like you would be walking around an alien, strange neighborhood after 10pm? Give me one good reason why a police patrol car doesn't have a right to ask the intruder what he's doing there at that hour?

And don't give me constitutional rights because you'd be the first one demanding that neighborhood citizens surrender their fire arms to the government and you'd also wouldn't say a word if a citizen driving a motor vehicle was thrown in jail and have his license revoked for having one drink by some quota filling cop.

your a fucking idiot.

cops cant harass people for just waling down the street.

HOW in the fuck do they determine they don't belong there by just looking at them?

Because if they were making nightly routine patrols, they'd know they don't belong there.
So why don't the cops have a right to ask them what they're doing there .. according to you?

By the way, I was just banned over there where your signature refers to.

........... for about the sixth time

Ha ha ha, well done old friend, well done. However, you have a ways to go to catch up to me. I am the proud recipient of the rare and elusive "perma ban."

I hope this means we'll see more of you here.

no, they are not.

read most of my posts, dimwit. there are also NUMEROUS federal court cases that specifically say that police have no duty or responsibility to protect any individual unless that individual is in custody.

If their duty is to uphold the law (see Law Enforcement Oath of Honor) and they don't intervene in a mugging, for example, isn't that a dereliction of duty?

No they don't have the right to ask people why they are in public

Because they have a god damned RIGHT do go where ever the hell they want. If they're not doing anything illegal cops can fuck off and die.

And you're demanding that people give up their right to travel where and when they please. You're not better, fascist.

I don't consider anyone having a drink or two in a bar after work a criminal. I don't care what the cop's blood alcohol government breathalyzer says.

There was a time in this country when community police would escort a citizen home who's had one too many out on the roads or a time when cops would let somebody keep sleeping in their car off the road - better there than trying to drive.

Now THIS is what I consider an abomination. How many thousands died because of drunk driving, and all the driver got was a slap on the wrist?

And before you call me a punk liberal or some such insult, I knew a woman who drove drunk, speeding down an icy road, and went into a pole, killing herself. She left behind a couple of little kids, the boy was only two years old.

And before you bring up Ted Kennedy, I believe he should have been convicted and thrown into the slammer. So we good on this?

To play devils advocate, any accident where ANYONE driving had any alcohol is typically deemed a DUI incident. So even if the person drinking wasn't at fault, that's how it's going to be recorded and that's how it's going to be found at court.
