A new round of speculation about Mitt Romney's running-mate deliberations ensued after a media report mentioned an unconventional choice: former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

The Drudge Report website set Washington ablaze in another round of the vice-presidential guessing game Thursday night by posting an item attributed to "sources" naming her as one of the top contenders to be the presumptive Republican nominee's running mate.

I know that libs would be happy with this choice because instead of arguing substance of Condi, they could just sit back and wax Bush Administration, But what do you all think of this possibility?

She is loved by the republican establishment, and she is razor sharp intellectually....Would this be a mistake by the Romney campaign?

My personal choice would be Rubio, but I am interested in what you think....note: Libs fight the urge to destroy this thread with nonsense, and just give some honest thoughts please. thanks.

I don't know Jarod, I think it is unlikely as well, further, I don't think it would be a good choice, but what do I know?
