Court OKs Barring High IQs for Cops

As a former employer, I can agree 100% with this.

That said, what intelligent person would want to be in a career where your chances to come home in a body bag are exponentially high?

One who wants to help others, make a difference, and serve the community making it a better place to live. Oh and the pensions are pretty nice too.

Why should a smart person be denied this opportunity because they might get bored?
 
Well, that does make it a new development as a component of case law.

Now, the age of the litigation certainly does show that it has zero reflection on Obama.
 
I thought scoring high was a good thing, but even the military limits your choices if you score too highly.
 
The military wants to steer you toward career fields that require high ASVAB scores, because most applicants can't qualify, while the positions still need to be filled.
