The asteroid theory is JUST a theory so far. But evolution has been demonstrated.

Take some science classes at your college, ok? We're not going to give you a science 101 class here on this forum.

Do yourself a favor and search the theory of evolution. Where did you get the idea it was uncontested?

Note I believe most of it. Short term variations have been shown, but hell, creationists can explain that. lulz you sound like some ofmy old friends.

That's nice. There was no world flood.

You have been give proof far more conclusive then your silly myths and tv shows. Tell us how the ice survived being submerged in the flood waters? How did the notothenioidei (Antarctic icefish) survive this flood when they can't survive in water above 4 degrees Celsius?

This is just one of many problems with the unbelievable flood story. But it's one that is recorded and written in something far less impeachable than the myths of primitive desert nomads from 2500 years ago.

actually, the one who sounds deranged is the one implying I don't believe in evolution, that I believe the earth is 4000 years old, that dinosaurs and humans coexisted......one would almost think you haven't actually read my posts.....but of course, given that you've repeatedly claimed to have me on ignore, I suspect you haven't.......so isn't it more deranged to comment on what someone believes when you refuse to read what he believes?......

you have some inside information on how "short" that time was?........I seem to recall that most of North America was populated by Asians crossing the ice bridge across the Bering Straits since the last ice age.....what was that, between 30-50k years ago?.......certainly everything that comprises what we consider to be civilization occurred in only the last 20k years or so......

actually it is recorded in nearly every primitive cultures' "myths".......one would almost think everyone out there had an ancestor who survived a disaster that killed all the rest of humanity......oh, wait......

Awwwww...my heart pumps pee at the news of the closing of another KKKristian Segregation Acadamy. Like the article said. It's good news for the kids though. Now they'll possibly get a real education.

Why should he answer a question that is completely irrelevant? What does "Where, how and when did life begin?"haave to do with the theory of biological evolution? Do you even know what the modern theory of biological evolution even is and what natural phenomena it models? By your question, I gather you don't.
 
Bible is allegorical, written so men of ancient times ( or about 2000 years ago) could understand the philosophy of a creator.

That's what is was intended to be, a religious text, and it's fine for what it is. we have freedom of religion.

That doesn't mean one can take their religious BELIEFS, and present them as ALTERNATIVE FACTS, as science is concerned with making theorys based on empiracle evidence.

There isn't any emiracle evidence in the Gospels, as much as some would like it to be.

Seems Jesus words are profound here "render unto Caeser what is Caeser's render under God what is God's"

That is a clarion call to not mix the secular existence with any faith /philosophy.
