Generalizations are dumb.

There are good and bad, dumb and smart representation in all political perspectives.

The problem right now is generalizations that attempt to make a good v bad based on specific incidents. The person/group involved in the incident may be good/bad or smart/dumb.

Regardless, that doesn't define the group.

Generalizing to define a group is easy and appeals to lazy thinkers. They are looking for reinforcement, not the truth.
