Editing black mistreatment out of American history is exactly what the Repugs are doing. They are rewriting histot\ry knowing that in a couple of generations, what we did to minorities would disappear. That is dishonest. We should teach what we did to the Indians. We should teach slavery, Jim Crow, lynching and separate and unequal education and opportunities. That is who we were. With this anti CRT movement, it shows we still are.
CRT is a tiny part of education in a couple of colleges. The rightys are making it a big deal because their plans are much more sweeping. They want to whitewash our terrible history.

Re writing history (hiding history and replacing it with lies) is for selfish, greedy low life assholes. All history should be preserved and shared to learn from. Yeah how dare they hide that black people sold such slaves etc. or try and hide that white people fought and died to free black slaves while instead sick and filthy so called democrats and so called liberals race bait at every turn. I didn't do anything to the indians except include some of their leaders on my official contact lists as well raise awareness with them too. Our ancestors likely got sick of being attacked and scalped while trying to settle. The so called indians were fighting against one another killing each other when settlers arrived. By First Nations own submission about a decade ago, there were 18 million of them scattered across North America when settlers arrived which is enough people to moderately populate the island of Cuba.

Minorities are not the problem. The problem is how a society decides to treat them. They can accept new people and make them part of the country. We do not do that.
