The "Jews will not replace us" chant was SO bizarre! It's like, Whaaaaaaaat? Where does THAT come from? Is there some big problem with Jews secretly displacing whites? Like, are they procreating at a greater rate? Is there some data which reflects that Jews are representing an increasing proportion of the American population? Is there any instance of a white supremacist being 'replaced' by a Jew?

It seems like a completely unfounded fear.

These Trump supporters are probably just hollering things they saw in Mein Kampf, or other Nazi literature, rather than thinking about whether it made sense in 21st century America.

The 80's and 90's crime bill are referenced as examples of systemic racism. I've seen people argue we need to teach CRT in school so we don't elect people like Trump and DeSantis. By making your neighborhood zoned for single family housing only you are making it more expensive and thus exclusionary to large portions of the population (minorities being the biggest in that group). By allowing more mixed use (read: duplexes, triplexes and multi-family) in neighborhoods you have more economic diversity and that means more racial and ethnic diversity.

Who does single family zoning benefit most? Largely well to do white home owners. What's funny is a fair number of them will proclaim themselves woke and support CRT while fighting to keep their neighborhood exclusionary (gotta keep the property values up...).

Single family zoning is not the problem. Eliminating it will not reduce racism. Teaching our racial history in schools is a better idea.

Wow, that’s a very interesting position. We should teach CRT in our classroom (which would include discussing the racist history behind single family zoning) but we shouldn’t do anything about it in the real world.
