Cult45 Continues to Whine

Jerry Falwell and Rush Limbaugh pounded white superiority and laissez-faire economics into the skulls of working class males for 35 years. Trump was at the right place at the right time when it became obvious that manufacturing was boarded up with weeds growing through the cracks in the asphalt.

Democrats refuse to see the desperation of the working class. A very high percent of 6.Jan were long-term unemployed. Government is their enemy. Something's gotta give.

How do you know that they were long-term unemployed, from other than the pandemic, that is?

No one has suggested that the fed. govt. (or state or local for that matter) "take over" corporations. Agree with you about unions. And who destroyed them? Saint Ronnie.

Presidents only sign legislation, they don't pass it. The Democrats held the House for 40 years until Newt. Blaming it all on Reagan isn't correct.

There were a lot of greedy Democrats involved to kneecap labor in the 70s and 80s until private unions were effectively destroyed.

working class desperation can never compete with extreme right wing/white nationalist ideology.....have nothing to do with each other in today's Amerika IMHO

What are you? Online subsistence desperation?

Tell me moar about your power bill and rent. :D

How do you eat?

Scholars quickly pounced on the underlying cause. Job insecurity and long-term unemployment has been a major factor for white working class males ever since the 2008 capitalist bankruptcy and subsequent Wall Street bailout.

Desperation noun
1: loss of hope and surrender to despair. 2: a state of hopelessness leading to rashness.

While that is true, it's no more an explanation for people believing it than the Three Stooges were responsible for forked-finger blinding incidents.

Do videos make kids violent or are violent kids attracted to videos?

Agreed on the Democrats. They are no longer the party of blue collar labor and haven't been for several years.

Howdy partner.

The Stooges and Limbaugh were very influential on the white working class brain.
The bible is much more violent than any video game.
It was Clinton who signed NAFTA into law and did away with Glass-Steagall.

Trump exploited the arrogance and ignorance of the democrat elite.

the demmycrats aren't the party of the working class........they are the party of the "refuse to work" class.......

Reagan broke the air traffic controllers union; the rest was a domino effect. (R)s have been implementing Right To Work (for less) for the same length of time. They were fighting about that in Missouri when I was in my early 20s; the (R)-dominated legislature keeps trying to shove it down the reluctant people's throats even today. That's just one example. Republicans hate unions because they really do NOT represent the working man/woman; their loyalties belong to the corporations.

no, CuNt, the thread is about your inability to deal with your hatred of Trump.......it controlled your life for four years, aren't you ready to let it go and face the real problems we have in the world?.....

You poor sad pathetic thing. You *still* cannot manage to participate in adult discussions without resorting to your childish personal attacks. Will you *ever* grow up? Probably not. Your growth has been stunted by your surrender to your #MalignantMessiah. Tsk.

That might be the cause of the Cult of the Trumpanzees' devotion to #TRE45ON, but that's not the cause of the Jan. 6 insurrection. I'm sure that you're aware that many of those terrorists were former and current LEOs and military, right?

lol.....you haven't been here long so you probably don't know.....I started calling people cunts because they called me Pimp.......you are neither clever or original.....meanwhile, your thread accusing people of being whiners is simply a continuation of your four year long megawhine.......

Reagan broke the air traffic controllers union

those were the folks who signed a contract agreeing they would never go on strike and then decided they could get what they wanted from the government by going on strike and shutting down all air travel........I guess "broke" the union means enforcing that agreement......why do lib'ruls hate being held accountable to their promises?.......

You make Jesus cry, PiMP.

we all do, CuNt.....by the way, since we both know you have called other posters "cunt" yourself, why pose?......

He fired the PATCO strikers for failing to return to work. Consider that ATC workers are Federal, not private, so he had the power to do so. Congress could have stopped him.

FWIW, I think even he realized that it was a mistake. I was flying in California then for the Marine Corps. ATC virtually shut down at times. Military controllers were pushed to fill in.

Consider that the firing of PATCO controllers was across a wide spectrum of ages. Most of the military controllers and, a few months later, new controllers were younger. 20 years later, this bubble of "young controllers" aged out for retirement creating a huge gap to replace them.

All that said, it was only one action. There were many others limiting the rights of workers to self-help, all imposed by the Democratic-assisted Federal government Labor Relations Authority: https://www.flra.gov/

Want to go on strike? You have to get permission from the Feds first. That rarely happens. Do it for 40 years and unions die on the vine because they can't seek self-help to right wrongs.
