Do I understand it? Of course. The swamp. It is a real thing. democrat politicians consistently show they do not give a fuck about their constituents. They really on their general ignorance and the ability to get excited by sound bytes and the lure of free shit. It works every time for them.

I saw a interesting report on a study the other day which claims to show that the more one virtue signals the less likely they are to actually be virtuous, which my instincts tell me is part of the story. Maybe it is partly actively looking for people who can carry out a con but more likely it is that the Left is always looking for people who sing the right songs, who sell the right stories, and they just happen to be usually people who are actively gaming the system. Those who virtual signal a lot give themselves passes for their failings, and then they also do the same for their friends, other overt virtue signalers...something like that.

If we still had journalists there would surely be several big books on this subject.

Nope, he'll continue to put them in nursing homes to kill off more elderly. Gas has become too expensive since Biden nixed the pipeline.
