OK, lets start with your basic mathematics mistake. It is ironic that you made a dumb ass mistake in a claim that others are dumb asses.
2 million out of 8 billion would be 1 out of 4,000. 100,000 divided by 4,000 is 25. So the number of confirmed Covid-19 deaths is about 25 out of every 100,000 people. That is not 2, but 10 times 2. So we are already higher than the number of suicides.
The number of suicides is somewhere between 5 and 15 out of every 100,000. That is an estimate. The most common number would be 10.5, not 16. Suicide numbers are not known for certain, because different countries count it differently, and many suicides are not counted at all.
All of this is out of a world population that is also estimated, and not accurately counted.
Which is where we return to Covid-19. Most of the world does not have access to modern medicine, and so has no way to confirm Covid-19 deaths. These would be deaths that could not be confirmed as Covid-19, and would not be included as part of that 25(not 2). The real number is at least four times the confirmed number... So we get somewhere above 100 per 100,000. There will also be long term deaths due to health problems from long Covid-19... But we are already at this being 10 times worse than suicides, and nearly 100 times your first mistaken number.

It doesn't. The economic collapse was due to Trump, not handling the pandemic. He just saw it as a political opportunity and spoke daily about it for months. Once it became clear that he was harming himself with his dailies, he washed his hands of Corona and let it run its course. The mess is Trump's.
A disease that we had not even heard of a little over a year ago has now infected hundreds of millions of people worldwide. It is a pandemic. It is spreading rapidly.
