I have no real opinion on wikileaks. So long as they aren't mentioning names of operatives and getting people killed I'm ambivalent.

I do think it may make some diplomats think twice before they say something in what is supposed to be confidential communication. But maybe they should anyway.
 
Damocles is this some of the "info" that your scared of being released?

One of the published cables provided this description of Sarkozy: "An activist on the international scene, with an opportunistic eye for grabbing attention and credit, Sarkozy will remain a challenging partner despite his desire to improve the bilateral relationship."
 
Again, I have no particular opinion because I am apathetic to the released information. While it is habit to be against classified material getting out (I was a translator in the military for gawd's sakes), I realize that we classify way too much and let people hide behind it. In this case, nobody is going to die because the information got out... therefore I am apathetic.
